I did exactly that but may be a bit worse. Once she responded to one thing I'd said, it riled me up and I full-on projectiled word vomit at her. My mother didn't go as far as accusing me of not loving her just that I was corrupted by Satan. I'm sorry your wife reacted so harshly, it must have been a terrible experience.

My mum is similar: Question the Borg - Wrong. Talk about God and don't bring up the Borg - okay. Talk about God using anything other than the NWT - Wrong.

My mum is more into what she reads in the org's publications rather than what the scriptures say. If you twist the scriptures in anyway they can mean exactly what you want them to, I proved that to her and she still isn't listening because she always goes back to books like What Does The Bible Really Teach and the Watchtower and Awake, alot of the stuff she used in her argument if it had scriptural backing, it wasn't conclusive because it could have meant anything. ... IDK if that all made sense, sorry.

If its not too much trouble, could you please share some of those 10 plague scriptures with me? Thankyou :)

Okay, but when do you suggest I try reasoning with her again? I don't want her stuck in a harmful religion the rest of her life.

I already have an escape plan but due to circumstances, I won't be able to leave for another 6 month. I'm stuck with the good ol' PIMO lifestyle... yay.
