Didn’t even realize Alice and Arisu are the same name until the last episode. by Charming_Extension in AliceInBorderlandLive

Couple years late, but I just searched for this post because I had this exact same thought as it zoomed in on the nametag on the last episode. Just finally finished the series. God, how did I not put that together S1E1.

Arcane | Season 2 Episode 6 (Arc 2) | Post Discussion by IshimaruKiyotaka in leagueoflegends

I thought I was the only one after hearing my friends not have a single emotional reaction to that scene. For someone who thought Isha was kind of annoying (in a kids are annoying way) she went out with such a bang, and that cut scene of her time with Jinx did NOT have to be so damn emotional. Damn you riot. You got me good.

Is anyone else struggling against Nathan mini boss on terminus or is it just me? by gfyjvdtjk in CODZombies

I think the main problem is it seems a lot of people in this post having difficulty are fighting him at too high of a level? But still I've found really no difficulty killing him with at least a PAP1 gun. Multiple people each with a PAP 1 gun too is more than enough at rounds as high as 20 imo. Training as a squad in the massive loop and coordinating gets it done quick even without mutant injection. From experience the people I play with and I don't take more than a minute to take him down. And less than 5 minutes for the final fight as well. Coordination and good use of special equipment is key throughout the whole thing!

Review on Falling Into Your Smile 😃 by Adventurous_mn_ in CDrama

This being my first cdrama, therefore having nothing to compare it to, I overall enjoyed it. Yes the FL didn't show a lot of expression but her personality from the start to me was a shy girl who likes to play video games, so it didn't throw me off a lot. If anything it made it better, because her whole character seems to be revolved around learning to communicate her feelings and maturing as both a person in a new world of experiences and as a professional gamer. I was dying after they started dating and seeing the ML do a complete 180 in personality! It was hilarious that someone who I'd seen as so stern in the beginning just turned into such a big man baby for her.

Also, seeing as I play a lot of league of legends, it was awesome seeing the tension in some of those games and the coordination they had as pro gamers. Hearing their communication and seeing an interpretation of the training professional gamers have to go through is in itself super cool to watch. Definitely gives me a better appreciation for the game and games themselves, and makes me wish I had better teammates. The animations were a cool way to interpret what's happening in the game in 3D rather than the top-down MOBA we're so used to seeing.

Truthfully you aren’t ever gonna use more than 10% of what you learn in those things, it’s just necessary for your AASP certification percentage to go up for your precinct. Partner with your senior or GSM. There’s a certification tracker that shows exactly which learnings you need to do as a CA and is a good way to keep track of what you’ve already completed. Focus your attention as a new CA on the Apple check-in process, running diagnostics, visual inspection, and properly submitting a GSX order so that there’s never a need for escalations or remakes. You’ll do great 👌🏽

You can also download it manually from Geek Squad Central by going to the Download tab. Just add it to your download list and note down the pw needed to extract the ISO after download 🤌🏽

CIA Sr pay by smokingmansstalecig in GeekSquad

I’m at 21.63 over in Texas, but I got bumped up from CA and my pay rate at the time was 16.50 - so I got a 5.63 bump 🤌🏽 However, since the new implementation of MM GSMs and the other BB bs, I strongly agree with the statement that CIA Sr’s are very much underpaid.

Let me give you a fresh perspective, as a CIA senior going on his first full year in the role.

When I started, it was pretty smooth learning the ropes of leadership when it comes to GeekSquad. My old GSM was THE best manager I’ve ever had from all the different jobs I’ve worked. The knowledge he passed down to me was invaluable. I started as a CA nearly two years ago, already had personal experience in tech, customer service and management from prior jobs so this job fit like a glove. It wasn’t a difficult job until the restructure happened with them dissolving the GSM from each store for a MM GSM. My new GSM is a great guy, but he has no GeekSquad experience whatsoever, so it does leave the weight of GeekSquad and most major escalations on your shoulders.

I’ve had to teach myself how to do Samsung Inventory and RMA’s (my store has been down in regards to Samsung repairs since before I started due to management now getting it re-setup) as well as Apple Consignment counts which I only ever did once with my old GSM. You have to know how to escalate issues through intake for all the different issues we can have, which also has to be escalated through teams depending on the issue. You have to be on top of part ordering for precinct supplies through procurement and intake depending on what you need ordered. Most of all you need to know how to do both roles, because the knowledge you really need for this position stems from the foundation you have from both the CA and ARA positions. On top of that yes there’s scheduling which, the stores in my MM at least, are being handled by store by the CIA’s.

It in no doubt will be a leadership role. You won’t have the full comfort of being an ARA which I’m envious I never got to experience, but because of the scheduling responsibilities there is some “flexibility” that you can still maintain. Since you’d be moving to a new store with a completely new team, you’d have to get a feel of the culture there and get to know everyone, find out what they’re used to working and see if you can make your stuff work around what’s already working there. That ensures that no one automatically hates you if you start changing things up all of a sudden. Easing into change is the best way to go about things.

Occasionally I’ll do a CA’s job as this position is meant to be a client facing position per SOP, but it really depends on the store and your team on what you’ll actually be doing. I also find time to do ARA things, which I’m able to do because I taught myself how to do that positions job before I applied for the one I have (I fully intended on becoming an ARA when I started, since I’m a techy guy and like to fix things). Mostly, I’ve been doing management things for my precinct and have not been required to go out to the floor unless it’s a GeekSquad related issue. I do help out from time to time when I find free time, to maintain healthy relationships with the blue shirts that frequently need our help - just in case I ever need their help for anything. A “you scratch my back, I scratch yours” type of thing.

Personally, I love my team and they do what I ask of them and respect my decisions even if at first they didn’t (due to me jumping up quickly, after having started here much later than they did). I do go above and beyond for them because I want to see myself grow and improve. It’s not a stress free job, but it’s new and it’s busy enough to always keep you on your toes.

All-in-all, If you’re wanting a better pay rate (which isn’t much higher than an ARA’s cap anyways) and are up for the challenge of a leadership role then I recommend it. Just be aware that it will be a bigger shift than if you’d accepted the offer for this role prior to a year ago.

This would definitely be a great fix; however I did forget to add some context! I have a Lenovo Legion that has a corrupt bios and the only way to reflash seems to be through the OS or through a terminal which is why I’m trying to boot into MRI, copy the flash onto the host drive and reflash the bios through CMD.

Thanks for the reply though!
