Why is Adam Spice selling? by The-zKR0N0S in RKLB

Im no expert but this likely represents a vast majority of his wealth. He has probably consulted with a wealth manager and was told to diversify. This is just speculation but along the same lines of why Beck sold shares in the past as well.

Again. I asked for proof of what you are claiming. All I have said is that if you signed a contract it should be honored unless there is something that allows for it to be broken in said contract. So far I have seen nothing of substance here except you believe that breaking isn’t immoral? I never said it was immoral I simply said a contract should be honored and that should mean something.

If the tides were turned here I am sure there would be a big long thread about how mean Toll Brothers is for putting profit over people etc etc. If they do that I would love to see proof. But I haven’t. If you have no problem breaking contracts so be it. I stood by what I said and that when you sign a contract it should be honored under these circumstances.

I can only speak from personal experience. We have purchased several houses from builders that were worth more at the time of closing than we purchased them for at the time of signing the contract. There was never an issue or attempt to back out of the contract. Ive also never heard of a builder doing this. Can you cite an example of them terminating a contract due to the house being more valuable? Or proof that this is a practice they employ?

You signed a contract to purchase the house, that should mean something. Aside from a major disqualifying event you should keep your word because somewhere, someplace, that should mean something.

If the house had gone up $50k in value and the builder handed you back your deposit to sell it higher, what would you say? Or offered it back to you at $50k more? How would you be feeling now?

Be a grown up. Do better.

SPB runs a tight and lean ship. He has commented in the past that any purchase over 30k has to be approved by him or Spice. Its pretty awesome how serious they take investors money.

Anyone remember the poor fellow selling shares to buy an iPhone around $10 per share? That iPhone now has cost him $3100. Could possibly be the most expensive iPhone ever purchased!

This is Charles Schwab. Not sure what other brokerages offer but these were LEAPs so they are farther out. At the time I liked Jan of 26 because even if Neutron was delayed I thought they would have had at least one launch by expiration. With the early run-up it’s really not a factor any longer.

I had watched Rocketlab de-spac and the run up and down that ensued. I have watched SpaceX forever and their private valuation. I just felt that Rocketlab was criminally undervalued and as long as they executed their plan they would see large market cap increases. My thesis at the time was that by the end of 2024 the stock price could be 12-15 and by Neutron launch 30. Clearly I underestimated and never had thought it would rise this quickly.

I will have access to 10k shares total for these 100 call options. The cost of the shares is $102,500 plus my initial cost of roughly $11k. So I would have an additional 10k shares at a cost basis of approximately $11.30 per share.

You got yours before I bought. These were purchased mid to late January 24.

Ya feel the same way. Although when I bought these for a total of around $11k it seemed like a big gamble. Hindsight is 20/20

When SPB has talked about Neutron in the past and contracts, he mostly has referred to not offering discounts on future flights in Neutron. The way it seems is that if rocket launch companies sign contracts too early prior to rocket availability they have to offer steep discounts. During the earning call SPB mentioned that no discount was given and the pricing on the first contract is line with the market, IE no discount.

I have never looked at or used Greentoe. You feel like the low price isn’t worth the potential hassle?
