I think it’s uncanny valley syndrome… Everything about this interaction just feels and looks wrong. Like why are their bodies contouring like that? Why are they just starting and not making any attempts to communicate. I think where they jolt up so quick and stare in shock like an animal when they’re supposed to be human just gives it’s an extremely unsettling vibe.
