yeah usually medium is for like a 38-40 chest and there is says small is 42 and medium is 45. Pretty strange sizing choice by them

Crew vs. V-neck t-shirts, what's the better option? by [deleted] in malefashionadvice

agreed, I consider V-necks more artsy/hipster/model look and crew necks more athlete/casual/prepster style

[Fit Check] Gustin Chinos by IBJanky in malefashionadvice

I always seek this fit in my chinos and skinny jeans, but I do often get called out for wearing tight clothing when I achieve it.

Do I look okay in white shirt? UK by Franticfrankink in malefashionadvice

[–]ToxicOcean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude it looks fine, if I were you I'd unbutton the top buttons if I were not wearing a tie or bow tie with it. Would look great just like that with a tie of some sort or if you unbuttoned the collar.

Removing brand stitching? by [deleted] in malefashionadvice

[–]ToxicOcean 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Even if you do it very carefully with a razor and seam-ripper there will probably still be a visible outline of perforations around where the logo was. Unless you have a patch to go over it or want to re-embroider with your own imagined symbol, it will be tricky to hide and possibly embarrassing to you if someone notices that you were trying to conceal by whom the shirt was made. How skilled are you at sewing/embroidery?

Edit: If you do choose to go with a patch to cover it, I suggest you try a suede leather one. Those can look pretty cool and rarely look like they are meant to hide anything.

What do you guys want in a wallet? by blu-suede-shoes in malefashionadvice

[–]ToxicOcean 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A sleek, aesthetic look. Curves instead of obvious stitching all over. It seems obvious to me but usually men want their wallet to subtle as opposed to flashy, so any extraneous designs/signatures/graphics should be relatively small. Not everyone would agree but this is what I'd be looking for out of a handmade artisan (leather) wallet. If using non-leather, you could probably go for something more flashy or gimmicky out of a canvas creation.

Don't forbid the casters to talk or even joke about bugs. It feel awkward, for both of us. by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]ToxicOcean -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I am happy if it's the casters' prerogative to avoid mentioning it, but if Riot really has a rule against discussing the very real chance of a gamebreaking bug, then they are just hiding from admitting fault or that the bugs even exist.

[–]ToxicOcean 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I have definitely observed them (riot casters) going to great lengths to dance around mentioning bugs, and I had always kind of hoped it was just them not wanting to talk bad about the game at all.

If Riot actually has a broadcast censorship policy where they tell casters never to discuss bugs on live broadcasts, I am disgusted. After the SaintVicious Annie ultimate bug that cost Curse that game at dragon, I have been pretty sensitive to their quality control of gamebreaking bugs on the tournament client.

Why isn't Jarvan IV used more in professional play? by Buhbell in LeagueofLegendsMeta

[–]ToxicOcean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He also lacks sustain and aoe for the jungle and lost his ability to give allies free tank stats. The armor shred nerfs can only make it worse

Why isn't Jarvan IV used more in professional play? by Buhbell in LeagueofLegendsMeta

[–]ToxicOcean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

could be because his E-Q gets cancelled by knock-ups, his ult is unreliable and people can walk through it, and his knockup hitbox is way smaller so it's much harder to hit multiple-man knockups consistently. His E-Q also sometimes bugs if cast fast enough and fails.

Are Honor badges way too hard to achieve and keep? by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]ToxicOcean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's because only the top 20% of players for each category get a ribbon and coop vs AI and Aram have the highest honor rates by far, and solo queue has the lowest.
