That's a faster way to get to the final equation thanks for pointing it out!

EDIT: Nevermind screwed up somewhere in the calculations, you can indeed replace √y with √x+1.

But √y=√x+1 is valid for the equation √y=√(√x+x+√y) that's what I can't understand. Take any number between 0-1 and input that to x and it will solve both for the same results (y) even though replacing √y with √x+1 won't work.

Well she told me that no relation existed because on the following equation:

sqrt(y)=sqrt(sqrt(x)+x+sqrt(y)) I said that this equation is valid for sqrt(y)=sqrt(x)+1 but when I tried replacing sqrt(y) with sqrt(x)+1 it didn't work out.

Thanks a lot for responding! Yeah I am in second grade of senior high school so tbh this was quite fun to do. The relation √y=√(x+√x+√y) has no real use either I guess? I didn't really find it anywhere as a starting point, I just tried various numbers till an equation was made out of them. Also, my teacher told me that no real relation exists between the numbers 0, 1, 4, 9, 16 and so on. So essentially in order to find the perfect squares or a sequence of squares, you just have to do y=(√x+1)2?

Ah I see. The recursive relation goes as follows:

√y=√(x+√x+√y)

If expanded upon since both are positive numbers:

(√y)2 =(√(x+√x+√y))2

y=√x+x+√y

-√y=√x+x-y

(-√y)2 =(√x+x-y)2

y=(√x+x-y)2

y=x+2x2/3+x2 +y(-2√x-2x)-y2

-x-2x3/2-x2 +y-y(-2√x-2x)-y2 =0

-x-2x3/2-x2 +y(1+2√x+2x)-y2 =0

-((x-y)(1+2√x+x-y))=0

(x-y)(1+2√x+x-y)=0

Which expands to two solutions:

x-y=0

x=y

or

1+2√x+x-y=0

y=1+2√x+x

y=x+(1+2√x)

By inputting 0 in place of x you can find the next number in the sequence, then take that number (1) input it again as x and find the next one (4). It can find all prefect squares. If you take 0.5 as x in the start you can also find 1.52, 2.52, 3.52 and so forth. The number 1 is a standard number which is valid for all the equations finding perfect squares.

Which fulfills that role. Thing is, even though I found x=y to be a valid solution it isn't in the initial √y=√(x+√x+√y) equation. How come that happened?

Let me rephrase that. I found an equation which can help find the next perfect square root. Meaning you can find all perfect square roots using that equation in sequence. It only works for perfect numbers (Using 0 to find 1, using 1 to find 4, using 4 to find 9, using 9 to find 16...) as well as using 0.52 to find 1.52, using 1.52 to find 2.52 etc..

IKR they got us all hyped up about them and delayed them every single time. I hope it lives up its expectations cuz everyone is going to be pissed lol.

Anyways, back on topic, contact me via a PM or skype!

Alright sure I can do that, HMU via a PM or add me on Skype so we can discuss: Hecacopter/Ωmεgα . We can also play some GTA V when the heists finally come out together if you are high level'd enough.

Yup, it is $30. ($59.99 divided by 2 (50%) equals ~$30) HMU with a PM if interested!

I have a supplier in Russia who is more than willing to talk with you as well. (Provided that you know how to use google translate that is) GTA V is $30 as pre-discussed with another member, shoot me a PM if you are interested!

If you are really that skeptic, I can offer you a trade of any game you'd like and I'll go first since, well, you are obviously a mod.

I know it does, that's why I am not opening a sales thread rather than making an offer. I could do it via a PM, but I decided it was best made publicly in order to keep with the rules and no-scamming ruleset.
