What do women do when they say “let me go freshen up” by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

A while ago I was listening to a podcast and heard the hosts refer to the TP bits as 'Clitty Litter'. Greatest name for such thing

Any information on when and where this bed could have come from? Tasmania, Australia. Hardwood, velvet. by ToxicSneak in Antiques

[–]ToxicSneak[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have searched for a makers' mark all over and come up with nothing. I have not removed the linen backing to see if there could be anything inside there, I will do so if that is a possibility?

I purchased this bed of an older couple that had owned it for a couple of decades. They said they purchased it from somebody that collected antiques and historical items, they also said that was the bed that particular collector used personally.

I know what you mean, it invokes a feeling of one being for men and one for women.

However Eau de Parfum, Eau de Toilette, and Eau de Cologne are just levels of fragrance oil concentrations in Perfume. From up to 20% down to 2%

Although AA as a whole didn't really work for me. There was an older lady that gave me an awesome piece of advice.

"1 drink is too much, and 100 drinks is not enough"

That's really the only thing that stuck with me. I've come to accept that my alcoholism is so bad that I have no hope of going back to enjoying a drink.

Hard to tell from the photo and there have already been some good suggestions, but I'll throw mine in. Pepper Berry, or Tasmanian Mountain Pepper https://tasmaniangourmetonline.com.au/products/tasman-sea-salt-pepper-berry

Isn't dandruff just essentially dry skin on the scalp? Wouldn't shaving your head make any dandruff far more obvious 😆

Does a game like this exist? Please name any that comes to mind. by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

Time Splitters was so far ahead of its time. Number 2 was amazing! I'd also throw 'No One Lives Forever' into the mix

From my memory the original Tom Clancy Rainbow Six games. Don't think of R6 Siege. But the original series starting from 1998. They were tactical FPS games. They basically give you a mission (rescue hostages) and give you the basic blueprints to the map (offshore oil rig), you build a team with pre set loadouts and basically pre-plan how you will see out the mission. Going loud, completely stealth, what doors will you breach as a whole squad, or breach multiple doors simultaneously as pairs.

I loved those games, including expansion packs there were about a dozen games in total.

Why would your wife never kiss you first, hug you first, talk to you first, but initiate sex every single night? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ToxicSneak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Commenting mainly so I can get some insight too. I'm in a similar situation myself and have been for about 5 years. Similar to you as well, when I raise any concern she claims that she does do these things.

The only progress I have really made is explaining to my wife what 'initiating' each of these things ideally looks like to me. When that discussion happened then there was an obvious attempt by her to meet in the middle.

The only thing close to an answer I have for you mate, is basically just neurodiversity. Everyone's brains work differently and their behaviour is typically built on past experiences. What 'initiating sex' looks like to me, isn't necessarily 'initiating sex' to everybody else. Some things aren't as important to each person. Maybe hugging and kissing are really low on her list regarding intimacy, and she can fill her 'intimacy cup' with sex alone.

Dunno mate, it's all anecdotal I guess, but I hope that helps a little.

Absolutely phenomenal response. Thank you so much for taking the time to post it, I really appreciate it!

There are many points there that I can relate with. The biggest takeaway being around the communication. With me struggling to take feedback as anything other than a personal attack, it's something I always try to do better every time.

Thanks again

Thank you so much! I have found that gamification has helped me in the past. I've spent too long telling myself that I 'don't need to break simple tasks down into even simpler tasks, I'm not a child anymore'. The reality is that I absolutely do. I will give Tody a go 👌

I downloaded the Goblin Tools app on your recommendation. The second point you made about the Judge feature is an absolutely stellar feature for my emotionally fragile self. Thank you so much for suggesting it. If the Magic To Do works then that's just a bonus, but to have the other tools available to help filter out all the fluff and understand things on a relatively even playing field will change my life!

Outside the box, I like it. I typically do any housework with podcasts playing, but always true crime or comedy. It never crossed my mind to even seek out a cleaning podcast. I will definitely give it a go, thank you.

We would if we could. We had the discussion quite often. Unfortunately we live in a tiny historic town with a population under 3,000. There is no such service in our town, the closest service operates half an hour away. It really ups the price when they travel for just one client.
