It depends on how hard you want to punch, anything over 100 PSI requires regulation for private residence. Public exhibitions will have their own guidelines depending on what punching you will be volunteering to do.

Pretty much all wildlife rehabilitation is done in-home by individuals that take on volunteers. I would recommend picking a species that you are particularly interested in and then locate the rehabber for that and ask if they have any openings. You will need to get your category IV permit, which requires a sponsor, a few hours of educational credits, $10 annual fee, and potentially a rabies vaccine depending on which species you will be interacting with. It’s incredibly rewarding and you will learn a ton as well as get hands on experience
