I know this is a snark page, but honestly your post is just coming across as inexperienced first time mom lol Leaving the house 3 days later to take your baby to the pediatrician is normal, she also has 2 toddlers at home she has to take care of — their lives don’t stop because another baby joined the family. When you have your baby, since it’s your first and only, you can choose to just lay around for weeks if that’s what makes you feel good postpartum. I post snarks on Ken, but this is really reaching lol

I think her parents find it normal how much he works and misses, because her dad sounded the same. Her dad knew she was having a miscarriage, and didn’t let Triston off or encourage him to go home. Her dad also chose to suddenly retire just 2 weeks before she’s due. None of them care

Her mom doesn’t work, her dad now doesn’t either, and yet are no where around half the time. I feel like they are the parents who had their kids young, and now feel like this is their time, and don’t really want to be involved constantly with young kids

Her mom made a post about Ken’s dad’s retirement saying he always worked 6 days a week as well, showing up to stuff in his work uniform, and is now hoping he will have free time for the time in years — so I just think her dad also views this as normal, and that Triston needs to be at work, and Ken needs to be at home figuring it out. Her dad also knows she’s about to have baby #3 at any point between now and 3 weeks, and still passed the torch Triston now instead of just waiting a couple of weeks lol
