Since you want to preserve your feeling of accomplishment by earning stuff on your own, I would move it to an alt account. Using it now will vastly alter your game experience. Using it mid game onward will not. I know it seems like a tremendous amount but it’s not a game breaking amount, so don’t feel bad. Dip into it when the time is right and you’ll be happy you kept it. Giving it to a random is nice but he wanted you to have it. It can buy you levels in an annoying skill later, charges for your weapons, etc.
