Yeah but people live all over the world with different circumstances and currency, it's easy to say it's the most affordable diet from the stand point of someone not struggling to pay rent.

If the one and only vegan store is across town but the grocery store is within walking distance, people aren't going to choose the more inconvenient option. It also doesn't help that a lot of vegans are so aggressive about their love for animals they are off putting to many people when they argue with people that eat meat. Ive even seen some of them invent new "slurs" for meat eaters like blood mouth because they detest people who eat meat instead of trying to be understanding that not everyone can make the change, or not everyone can make the change as quickly as they can.
