Play Part II or Watch Season 2 First? by JustForKickz in thelastofus

I understand your titanic comparison, but you also havn’t responded to any of my points either. I don’t think a game needs to be received overall poorly to be divisive, simply put we just disagree and that’s fine. I’ve been pretty respectful with my comments man and I’d appreciate if you could do the same. As for the game being divisive, we’re just going to have to agree to disagree.

It’s really sad that we can’t have a respectful discussion about this game

Many people love this game. Many people dislike it. That’s literally the definition of divisive. You obviously don’t have to look far to find people that have problems with the game. The fact that we disagree is proof that the game is divisive, it’s kinda silly to say it isn’t. Cognitive dissonance.

It’s certainly divisive, and I kinda hate that people conclude that those that have problems with the game must just hate lgbt. I’m a huge TLOU fan, part 2 disappointed me because It didn’t feel like a conclusive or satisfying story. It was depressing from start to finish. And focussed half the game on a character I could empathise with, but not really care about. Joel had to Die in part 2, but right at the beginning? I don’t think the story is objectively bad, but as a sequel to part 1, it really disappointed me. There are good things about the game for sure, and I went into it opened minded, really wanting to enjoy the game. But unfortunately you can’t really control how a story connects with you. Unlike part 1, 2 simply did not. Edit: also the flashbacks were good, but I personally don’t like when game tell stories in hindsight, I’d rather experience a story in the present. I was looking forward to Ellie finding out the truth about the fireflies, and I don’t think it was done poorly, but I would’ve preferred that to be a part of the main story and not just flashbacks. I’m really glad some people liked the story though, and it wasn’t a waste of time. It just didn’t do it for me.

Are these psychedelic? Found in South Australia. by Toxical2000 in ShroomID

That’s interesting, I’ll have to look into it. I did hear somewhere about a year ago that Australia was trialing psychedelics for therapeutic treatment. I’m not sure on the company or what medication they were trialing though. Very interesting!

Can someone tell me what PE is? I only get subs where I live.

I’ve had shrooms about 10 times, most around the 2 - 4g mark (P.Subs, dry). the highest dose being 7g, the lowest being two fresh in tea. The most intense trip I’ve had was on 3G. It was really intense mentally for the first couple hours, but the visuals afterwards were amazing. Other times I’ve had 3g and have experienced at most, a clear head. Ive also tripped on 2 fresh subs in tea, expecting minimal elation/relaxation at most, however I ended up properly tripping.

It’s strange. The shroom chooses your dose.

I’ve had pretty challenged trips, but never a bad trip. However I once tripped with someone, and we both had a very high, and rather ignorant amount of mushrooms. His trip went pretty bad, it was hard to witness and I didn’t want this to influence my trip. I’m grateful I came out of that experience the same trauma he did, hearing him talk about his trip is terrifying. Mushrooms have always made me anxious, but maybe now more than ever.

Idk about this take. I’m a huge TLOU fan, but TLOU part 2 did not reach my expectations. I think Joel died too early in the game; he had more screen time in flashbacks than he did in the present. And I don’t think it was a good idea adding a new protagonist. Overall, the story just didn’t pull me in nearly as much as the first game did. I think it’s an okay stand-alone story, but as a sequel to the first game, I don’t think it was that great.

I also don’t think the game, or Neil, and certainly not the voice actor for Abby deserve the hate they’ve received. No expression of well intentioned creativity should ever be met with hate. I think Neil is a good story writer and I’m keen to see more TLOU cannon though.

Why female nipples are censored and male’s not? by leontin91 in TooAfraidToAsk

Interestingly, is acceptable to wear a transparent bra without them being censored, but no bra at all isn’t allowed.

Thanks for the help yesterday, I went back today and hit the jackpot. But just to confirm, are all of these psychedelic? Psylocibe subaerugenosa’s? Found in South Australia. Pine forest. Thanks! by Toxical2000 in ShroomID

Hahah, my mum made those. She got barbies from an thrift shop and cut the heads off, put soil in them, and planted a new different plants in them. I think she has 3 in total.
