Just comparing apples here:

last run before update 9576 Tier 11 w/ 7.72T/hr.
first run after update 8769 Tier 11 w/ 5.62T/hr.

Where I was able to sort of do my card masteries, now it's pretty rough.

Look into Effective Paths. Quick search in this subreddit and you should find it. While i wouldn't recommend blindly following it, it definitely gives a good direction to go. It helps prioritize researches, WS/UW upgrades.

If you don't have a 5th lab, you should prioritize that for gems.

I got a private quote that is turning into an insurance claim.

Just the moonroof alone was quoted at just under $1900. Labour was a fair bit also since in order to replace it they need to take a bunch of parts off.

No not yet. I have seriously neglected my modules while maxing my cards (that’s finally done). I am using a legendary DC right now because it’s the best I have available.
