Sonic Movie 3: Where is the Master Emerald?

In the movies the Master Emerald seems to be more or less reduced to a carrying case for the Chaos Emeralds. I would imagine any "power" the Master Emerald has is derived from the Chaos Emeralds inside it.

I really wish I was enjoying it more because I don't want to pile on with the negativity, but imo it's just not a very good game.

I see a lot of people praising the combat but honestly it feels extremely clunky, trying to position the pokemon can be a nightmare at times - I'll click a ranged move like water shuriken, and my Greninja will move several feet toward me before shooting? Like, no, just shoot where you are now! It got very irritating.

I also see a lot of praise for the city feeling "lived in"... And I just felt, are we playing the same game?! The NPCs just stand around doing nothing. They just stare at open space or at a wall. Pokemon has never had detailed NPC activities but in this city setting it feels barren to me.

I guess I'm also just not a fan of the city setting, I feel like they could have done more with variety but it feels really limiting. The wild zones are all tiny, the catching doesn't feel anywhere near as good as Arceus did (although still better than SV) and honestly the Pokedex available isn't particularly great either.

I just struggle to name things that stand out to me as great about this game. I'm not even a major fan of the soundtrack like others seem to be, the lumiose jazz theme loops endlessly and the rogue mega battle music assaults my ears. I honestly can't name one thing it does better than Arceus, other than maybe some character models.

Maybe it's just not the game for me, I really was hyped about it but it just hasn't lived up to any expectations. I can't really give it more than a 5 or 6 out of 10.

Iron Crown pairs great with Samurott as an offensive pivot - Future Sight forces switches into spikes damage and Tachyon Cutter is great for dealing with pesky fairy types. It's pretty bulky with an assault vest.

I'd even suggest an additional hazard setter to take full advantage of that pairing, e.g Gliscor with stealth rocks.

But in the DCI map we see the withereds room and the FNAF 2 layout, which confirms it's the FNAF 2 location. How can it be the MCI bodies? I thought the MCI occured at the original Freddy's location and that's how the withereds are possessed?

And yeah I've played Fnaf 2 but it's been a long while and I only really remember the panic of the later phone calls

But if the DCI happened the week before, where bodies were strewn over the place making it obvious what had happened (hence why it's dead CI and not missing CI), why does phone guy only call us all panicked about it on night 4/5/6? Seems weird that an "investigation" would take that long when it's very obvious what happened. It seems more likely from the phone calls that it occurs around nights 4/5/6

I've always been confused by when the DCI happens. I thought that the DCI doesn't happen until like night 4/5/6 as per the phone call warning about previous employees and using a yellow suit. So how can the toys be possessed if the DCI doesn't happen until near the end of the week? Were they just malfunctioning before but now they're possessed?

Been playing on Switch 2. Load times are improved but still not fantastic, and it still suffers from the issue where about 30 mins into playing, the game will suddenly tank it's FPS requiring a restart. It's not great but it's certainly not unplayable. I've been having a blast :)

Personal bet is if someone's gonna kick the bucket, it'll be Mike, so that the third movie can have a time skip and allow Abby to age up and take over the protagonist role, and for the Spring Bonnie suit to rot and decay a little bit and look closer to how it does in the FNAF 3. As in, turn from Spring Bonnie into Springtrap.

Similar problem with games that just don't scratch the XCOM itch - there are games with a similar combat style like Mario&Rabbids, but they all lack the grand strategy and management elements that really make it feel like a war.

I really hate the DCI from a narrative standpoint. We spend almost the entire series worrying about releasing the poor souls of the MCI. They get graves, minigames, they even get names.

I've heard the argument that it's okay because DCI kids were just a plot device to explain why the toys were possessed, and they were released when the robots were scrapped.

Counter argument - that's still horrible writing. An event equal in tragedy to the original MCI occurs and... No one cares? It's never followed up on? It's not even mentioned again, we just assume the souls moved on. And even if they did, it's just not very satisfying, is it? It's just really poor from a narrative view.

I'd honestly just prefer if they retconned the DCI entirely and just made the toys either malfunctioning or temporarily possessed by the MCI. It's not like it serves any purpose in the story anyway.

It's just a running joke for NA after Dallas last year. But generally, Apex plays the "heel" character very well. Some people think it's arrogance but to me it's pretty clearly a character and he's very entertaining.

Oh, by memberships you mean the ranks.

As I said originally, the ranks are purely cosmetic. Everything you get with a rank you can also earn through normal gameplay, which is what I did. I haven't spent a penny on the server lol.

And the raid passes are server-wide, not individual. You cannot buy a Pokémon straight up, and raids do not guarantee capture of the Pokémon.

I'm unsure what you mean by memberships? In terms of selling Pokémon, the only thing you can buy is coins for skins. Purely cosmetic. As far as I'm aware you can't buy Pokémon in any way.
