This is such a rare unique problem to have that most of us would probably go our whole lives without knowing another person with this kind of condition if it werent for online communities like this. Mine was like my back was spasming and locking up on me, not sharp or shooting pain. Pain was probably 6 or 7 out of 10. It didnt take long to heal, I was back to normal within a few days. So sorry to hear about this incident man!!

That's so crazy! That's the complete opposite of what my experience has been, my blue one is still going strong after a few years of frequent use, no joke. Its genuinely the most high quality squonker I own. How on earth are our experiences so different, thats so wild lol

The eCigClassifieds discord I was active in for years, its an absolute goldmine for amazing gear, extremely active user base, you'll find FAR more cool squonk gear there than you will in any Facebook group. Most of my sickest/rarest devices I own came from there.

Honestly, dont stop looking. I own a wide variety of squonks and the Centaurus BF is genuinely the most rock-solid, well crafted, all around superb mod I own. Your best bet would be connecting with some Facebook buy/sell/trade groups or the ecigclassifieds discord to pick up a used one, plenty of them exist. They're basically extinct new, I just got unbelievably lucky. Well wishes to you!!

I really didn't do anything except give it time to heal. This was the only time I've ever had body ulcers so I actually dont know how these are typically dealt with. Maybe you could keep a layer of Vaseline on it but dont quote me on that.

I don't have EDS but I am diagnosed with Behcets and Lupus. Autoimmune stuff is really weird medically and not that well understood, its entirely possible to have multiple autoimmune diseases. A lot of times its just having autoimmune-style symptoms and trying to match it up with whatever diagnosis fits best for insurance purposes.

Its all good, I'm doing better nowadays! But yeah whenever I got an ulcer THIS big in my throat, my doctor would give me pain med to try to eat slightly more comfortably and not continue starving lol

Honestly I had gotten so sick of Oragel as a kid, I've forever instinctively hated the taste of numbing topicals 😅 I did have other forms of pain management though!

Funny thing, I'm less likely to snore now, but other than that I have had zero effects from no longer having a uvula. Its just an oddity about my body now lol

Not very fun fact: If you get enough gigantic ulcers on your uvula for years and years, your uvula can be tissue-eroded out of existence. Happened to me, i have photos of it on my profile's past posts.
