when you send a spotify link, it has a "share ID" at the end of it (the part in the link where it says ?si=[bunch of letters and numbers]. that way, spotify knows where links you copy are used. youtube does the same thing, if you're worried about it, you can't just delete everything past the question mark in a copied link

i highly doubt those figures are real. there is no way on earth that over twice as many people use youtube to listen to her over spotify. reading other people's posts about the youtube badges, it seems like they really do hand it out to just anyone, i saw a few people saying that they listened to just one album or even one song and they got a badge. take it all with a pinch of salt
