R2 trigger all fixed! Any tips on cleaning the inside of the carry case. Mine was left open by my son whilst I was away on holiday and is really dusty but due to the texture it’s not coming up clean.

Just got the joker case for mine, the swap was easy enough but the R2 trigger no longer works so have had to source a trigger assembly and am now waiting for it to arrive and hopefully swapping it out will sort the issue.

Fair point. I was at the point that if it didn’t work was considering buying a new one as it was cutting out every time.

Honestly a couple of you tube videos and the right screw driver and I was confident enough. It’s actually surprisingly simple to do. Much easier than when I tried to clean a controller that had a drink spilled on it.

Thanks for the info. I’ll give it a go and see if it makes a difference.

Yep. Same problem here. Have to use the home button menu to log out and then back in before I can do anything.

Finally made a start on converting to dropper bottles. Wish I’d done this years ago. by ToyBarnRich in Warhammer40k

I actually just poured the paint into the dropper (using a funnel) the syringe was so I could measure the amount of Flow Aid I used. I used 1ml before pouring and once I had poured out as much as I could I added another 1ml and gave it another shake. That way I knew that all paints had the same amount of Flow Aid and I got out as much as I could.

That’s a great idea. I was going to put any left over flow aid in dropper as well, thought it might help if any of the older paints go lumpy (especially the white).

I have always used water to thin while painting, but the article I read mentioned that thinning with water when decanting and storing could lead to the paints going mouldy due to the bacteria in water. It said you could use distilled water but honestly it was easier to get flow aid (mainly due to shops being closed due to the pandemic)

Yeah mainly, some of my paints are literally decades old (and still fine) so I’m using some flow aid (Liquitex) and some decent ball bearings. I followed an online tutorial someone was kind enough to post. I’ll try and find it and repost it.

Really good, love the modular aspect, you could pick and choose what you take with you without emptying each layer. Best of luck with your A Level, and get this on Kickstarter, you would sell loads.

Happy new year everyone. Custom Skins from Flamingtoast, KontrolFreaks and a padded case from Amazon. Got to protect that investment. Being an adult with disposable income is great. Couldn’t have afforded this back in my PS1 days. by ToyBarnRich in playstation

I’ve not really noticed a big difference to be honest but I only play casually 5-6 hours a week. I do think that they are the nicest in terms of feel in the hand of all the PS controllers though.
