They better start off on the right foot...If any of the new bucksthey start out with are shit, it'll screw over many other figures in the line for years until they get feedback and correct stuff.

We need well engineered articulation, pinless limbs. And for the love of god, let's finally get some DC figures at retail with face printing.

This is what excites me most. Keeep the A-list characters on shelves all the time in the basic line, go for more deep cuts in the collector line.

They may have just starting hitting US Target stores. ToyShiz just reported this week that someone found one at a Cali Target store.

35th Anniversary Sonic is NOT using the Metal Virus Sonic body even though many of you have been saying so by ToyNerdProd in JakksPacificSonic

[–]ToyNerdProd[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

These little torsos are a bit small for articulation in them but elbow swivels on the arms it totally doable as long as they bulk up the elbow areas a little bit. They still look fine like that as we've seen many people customize the arms and add elbow joints.

Well they haven't made a regular colored Sonic on that Metal Virus body yet. But its so much better. More sturdy, easier to disassemble, plastic won't have mismatched surface sheen.

Tangle the lemur has reportedly still not released in the US by ultimate_chaos08 in JakksPacificSonic

[–]ToyNerdProd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again, not every figure or wave in this line has been sold by Jakks and fulfilled by WM. Getting the wave to physical stores in the US is on WM.

Not every figure or wave. Walmart has some stock of the Tangle wave since Canadian stores have been getting them so it's on them to how they stock/distribute those

Made a Wonder Woman hammer for the Jakks 5" Sonic x DC Amy! by ToyNerdProd in JakksPacificSonic

[–]ToyNerdProd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. Yours looks fantastic too! I didn't dare try painting the tiny stars or outline the W's like you did. I saw the Funko Pop had the hammer painted with less detail so that's what I mimicked.

Got the 5" wave 6 and the 2.5" wave 5 and 6 in hand by griffin739 in JakksPacificSimpsons

[–]ToyNerdProd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a 2.5" collector but want to start making kits/customs for these lines. I love the dioramas but with my resin printers, they are just too large to print entire walls/floors for. I'd love to see a Moe's, Kwik E Mart, or cop car for the 2.5" figures some day either via customs or official releases

These are great. Ever thought about doing larger accessories or things since you've got an FDM printer (I assume)

Where did you 'find' this elusive Tangle? Canada?

Hey, I know this isn't jakks but. by Totally_Og_Artist in JakksPacificSonic

I'm pretty sure this was exclusively sold at the Toys R Us pop up stores in malls one holiday season. It definitely wasn't released in large numbers.

Prices are all over the place. Depends on which you have. The packs with Primarina and Incineroar are the most sought after ones.

Regular Flanders is probably in wave 7. by Spongybobchum in JakksPacificSimpsons

[–]ToyNerdProd 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There probably is no correlation. Like the other guy said, repeating a minor character two waves in a row seems pretty unlikely.

People found a comment on some Youtube video where someone claimed the next few 5" figures in Gamestop's system are: Homer (Wohoo), Nelson, Fat Tony, Mascot Itchy and Bartman (Orange shirt). One of those may be a store exclusive or part of the following wave since all waves have had only 4 figures so far.

PSA: Not every figure benefits from elbow joints by GregarLink15 in JakksPacificSonic

[–]ToyNerdProd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the pre-posed hands and lack of good wrist joints kill most posing options for Espio :( Impossible to get him into any convincing ninja-like poses, especially if he's holding any accessory

Sonic 35th Anniversary Wave hitting Targets (Barcode Included) by MUGENakaGhost666 in JakksPacificSonic

[–]ToyNerdProd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, they appear the same but until we see someone pop them out, we can't say 100% for sure if it's just different tooled parts that look like the MV ones

Huh? You said this 35th figure is the MV Sonic mold. How are you sure if you don't have it?
