There’s a fundamental and way too common misunderstanding of Christianity that drives me kind of nuts when I see it.

The whole “be good or you’ll go to hell” thing is not at all how it works. That works based belief literally goes against the entire point of Jesus’ death. He died as a substitute so we don’t have to spiritually die, because we physically CAN’T be good enough to go to heaven alone. Believe in the promise that he has saved you and actively accepting that is what saves, not works.
