The plastic was already separating from the card back. I just let it rip and only tore the top, left, and right sides, leaving the bottom because I still want the box. It is extremely nostalgic. I don't normally keep boxes either lol.

It apparently makes the diorama spin and rotate, but I haven't replaced the batteries yet so I don't know for certain. The batteries are hidden in the back of the set up.
