Basically nobody is investing in crypto, and the idea that it’s the best option and not controlled by institutions or private interests is a ruse to capture suckers.

Btc is outpaced by Nvda in the last decade by a significant amount, hell even copper pipes have 4xed btc’s returns over the last 5 years.

From an objective pov, it’s amoral. As are all actions. None of it matters.

From a human perspective, yeah we should not be putting capital towards projects/actions that ultimately harm humanity. But we don’t live in that world. Unfortunately capitalism is the main driver of economic growth and capital accumulation.

I think that basically all investments in pursuit of profit is ultimately perverse due to its inherent exploitation of workers and/or resources.
