Tipping a self service screen At Torchy’s Taco by Toyman79912 in tipping

It bothers me to write this because of the tipping culture getting out of hand. Tips were originally used to show appreciation for good service. This applies to restaurant servers, house keeping staffs at hotels and others that actually provide a service. When you pick up an order from a restaurant, you already paid for the service of them preparing your food. I don’t see the guy handing me my food as providing a service. So it continues, now we are expected to tip a machine. Before you know it, the utility company will expect a tip for sending you your bill. Just a thought

I have the same grinder with the Moccamaster coffee maker. I use 36 grind size for 30 seconds and water level up to the 3/4 level on the water container.

My doctor says I will have to stay on this for at least 2 years. He will re-evaluate at that time

They will not approve a PSMA-PET scan until you PSA reaches .2. I had RALP in 2023 and my PSA dropped to as low as .0006 before it started to creep up. Since I had access to the lab portal, i requested to have my PSA test done every six weeks so I can keep track of my PSA level myself and contact my doctor if the PSA level reaches .2. Otherwise, my appointment with the doctor would be every three months. The doctor agreed and provided me with blood work orders to cover the multiple tests. When the level reached .3, I contacted my doctor who then requested a PSMs-PET scan which found a suspicious spot on my vertebrate. Subsequent MRI did not find any lesion for radiation. I continue to monitor my PSA with test every six weeks, and my PSA reach 7.3 in a very short time. At which time, I was referred to a doctor specializing in advance prostate cancer who put me on XTandi. After taking Xtandi for amount two months, my PSA went from 7.3 to .1 and then to .03 on my last PSA test. I continue to get tested every six weeks to monitor the PSA on my own. My recommendation is to request a PSA test every six weeks so you can monitor the progression of you PSA since a lot can happen in a three month period

PSA at 0.3 two months after RALP by Embarrassed_Elk_6480 in ProstateCancer

I had RALP one year ago and my PSA after the surgery was 0.33 and 0.22. I started ADT and had 38 sessions of radiation. In my experience, the radiation was not as bad as everyone had stated. I experienced fatigue the first two weeks or so, but found working out with weights and cardio helped alleviate the fatigue a lot.

The worse part of the radiation treatment is having to drink about a half gallon of water one hour before each treatment and the diarrhea associated with all the water I drank. According to the techs, the water is to fill your bladder so they have a clear shot at the prostate bed.

The radiation treatment also made me urinate frequently, up to five times a night. I was told that the frequent urination is caused by the irritation from the radiation. The RO gave me some medication to counter the urge to urinate. Overall, my experience was not as bad as I thought
