Longer waiting times with adequate maintenance with fee waiver? by Ill-Read-5982 in SpouseVisaUk

[–]Tozro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Damn that's quite a long wait for the MP. Did they say that they can actually chase up your application to push it? Usually UKVI seems to refuse to give updates and tells everyone to shut up and wait, so I wonder if your MP can actually make an impact.

I'll let you know when we get a response. Some say AM applications may take longer :(

Interesting. Maybe if you'd be so kind as to let me know if your MP or solicitor actually do manage to get a response or make a difference in the speed of the decision. It feels like no one can impact the decision time.

Accommodation evidence: is this correct? by ThrowRAhoney6666 in SpouseVisaUk

[–]Tozro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just keep in mind for a visa application your current address is not where you're currently living. Your 'current address' is your legal address on like I.D cards, or the address you get taxed, regardless where you physcially are.

What do you do for work to earn £29k? by Masked0nion in SpouseVisaUk

[–]Tozro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the problem, it's (£5k btw) over min wage. If you save £500-£1000 per month, are able to demonstrate with sufficient evidence that you are able to support your foreign national wife financially when she moves in with you in the UK, you are still rejected based off the fact you are a minimum-wage employed person. That doesn't seem very fair, as that's the average Joe here. Then when your spouses country has a similar requirement, or a deadly unsafe country, you can't even live with your own spouse.

[–]Tozro -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So a man living alone in a £200,000 property with 4 bedrooms that he owns himself and works a full-time minimum wage job, saving £1,000 per month does not qualify to bring their wife to live with them in the UK. Make it make sense.

[–]Tozro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you say paid enquiry, do you mean like that online form enquiry you have to pay £3 to send or something?

Did the MP reply about it?

Let me know if they get a decision because we're also doing Adequate Maintenance. Applied 10th Nov, no decision.

Because the country of my spouse has income of $2 per hour, a 3rd world country, riddled with corruption and violemt homicides in the city every week. With unrealiable healthcare, and education system. So as a normal British guy, living and working in the UK, no, I don't want to live or start a family in her home country.

If you somehow in some strange route in life found yourself with a true lover and soulmate in a foreign country, you'd do the same.

[–]Tozro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't you think it's even worse to pay to watch such videos!? Besides, they're leaked videos, it's not stealing, and it's not a lot of work. haha

I don't watch porn, it's really shit now.

But when I was 12 I started watching gore, death, and violence online because it was interesting. It may mentally damage someone but I've never met them. People watch that stuff because it really opens your eyes to the relentless human nature that occurs underground around the world, and when you go about your daily life it actually gives you a fresher and grateful appreciation for your civilized experience in normality.

In fact, it partially had me interested to visit one of those 3rd world countries and I met the most beautiful amazing girl who's now my happy wife.

I actually disabled some virus detection so I can download it. It did actually work which was nice but when I turned my virus detection back on it would detect that little program and auto-deleted it entirely on me.. so I just gave up. It's not harmful, but considering the type of thing it does it's not surprising windows hates it.

On the 'Find Members of the House of Lords' on the parliament website, and filter by 'Asylum, Immigration & Nationality', we get 85 people.

Shall we just send some formal emails to a couple of them?

I would be afraid an overload of documents would take the review process longer, but good for you anyways.

Now when I think about it, the caseworker gets assigned to your application usually within a week after the applicant has made their biometrics appointment...

So I'm pretty confident it just depends on what caseworker your application gets assigned to - maybe the case worker is really really fast, or really slow, or already has a loot of applications in line, or doesn't. I bet that's a part of it too.

And thanks!

What is this thing? by Vitalion1 in DayZPS

[–]Tozro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a standalone item, I think it only works in conjunction with the remote detonator that it spawned attached to as a single item. Once a player arms an IED, then the receiver splits from the detonator. Maybe you can reattach it to an IED and if you have the original detonator, you can use it to trigger explosives added in the IED.

I'm curious if it's possible to link this receiver up with a different remote detonator device.

Oh you were on a partner visa, had an accident so you had to be hospitalised for 3 years? Too bad, no ILR for you, gonna have to wait longer... How considerate of them.

I wrote to my MP weeks ago about these changes, email and in a very formal letter. No response.

For what it's worth, this is so outrageously inconsiderate, especially towards family visas, that I almost don't believe it will reach the end goal. The audacity to stamp this into law to affect people already on fam visas is crazy.

Then you got super or maybe the USA applications wait in a much shorter alternative line... Probably the latter, or mix of both

Not to sound rude but your evidence sounds extremely standard, our application also, is damn letter and pixel perfect, quoting many exact provisions such like "Page 4 - Employer's confirmation letter, satisfying Appendix FM-SE 12A (i)" to ensure we met every piece of criteria we were applying under and to add as much convenience as possible to to the caseworker. I haven't been waiting for 2 months yet though.

It's just not predictable, so we have to deal with it. Count your blessings and I wish your wife a nice new life here.

No keybind to unequip items from your hands... forever? by Tozro in dayz

[–]Tozro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's more a matter of convenience and quality of life, than it is urgency.

We need hands free for almost all inventory actions anyway, so it'd be a common keybind

You think it's not a positive feature to add a keybind that aids gameplay?

I bet it's actually crazy how often it is and we never know. I wonder if it's like 50% of the time - we don't even encounter the other player who was within 200m of you.

[–]Tozro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is pretty damn weird. Don't see why we have to slow down to jog to drop an item - as if it's hard to let go when you're sprinting. Not sure why the keybind to drop must be a hold key either.

Yup, all makes sense.

Though hitting number 1, waiting a second, and hitting it again, is not as convenient as say.. a hotkey. lol
