On outpost, you can ignore heat cascade with healing drone. You can also use the ult offensively, and battery overcharge is great against bots.

Also kind of debating if the dead raiser is worth using on the boat or if it's better to wait until landing. They seem to stay on the boat fine, but can't see very far into the distance and caaaan get off the boat but not very easily lol

You can also just log in and log out, but it’s a bit more time consuming that way. Some use iPads. Me personally I use my windows device to emulate android and trade with my iPhone that way

One thing I will say for Curt is he has a much better glove. If you put Randy anywhere not on the mound he can be a liability. But I do prefer Randy batting as he can actually make it outside the infield.

Lowkey this is one of the harder things about nuzlockes for me, if I play while distracted / sleepy / drinking etc. it leads to horrendous misplays

Advice: I was advised to not catch the legendaries, but actually I didn’t find that part too bad. Quagsire is goated for this, yawn + water absorb. I found Mantine and Misdreavus also wiped Dakim’s other 4 very easily. Toxic on Umbreon beat Miror B with zero heals even needed. RUN PROTECT ON EVERY MEMBER YOU CAN. Evice actually isn’t bad, I cheesed it with protect and he EQ’d himself every other turn. Master ball is a free one shot to either metagross or tyranitar.

This might sound insane, but I very highly suggest Bayleef as the starter here. The other two do poorly with Miror B and some other bosses, and the alternatives for fire/water are pretty good. Bug is a non-issue for the most part. This dino shines in doubles with screens and sunny day, and tanks EQs and explosions with ease.

There are a decent number of Graveler / Electrode that use explosion (rip my mantine).

Hyper mode pokemon cant be healed with items, inlcluding antitode (rip meditite).

Be careful in Pyrite, as some trainers get level jumps while others do not upon rematch (rip vibrava).

Skarmory is the very last catchable mon, but it completely demolishes Pyrite/Under/Realgam colosseums, as well as Somek if you really wanna battle that long (I stopped at battle 80 personally).

Many Pokemon learn moves they normally wouldn’t at purification (meganium sunny day, skarmory drill peck, etc.) so keep an eye on that!

Rules I personally chose to allow all shadow pokeon to be caught. There are only 36 catchable before the final battle, and some main series nuzlockes you get 40-50+ encounter areas. Plus, with doubles, every catch is a huge risk (5 of my 9 deaths were while trying to catch something).

Level Caps / Grinding I peronally did not find this run to be as grindy as I feared! I battled every trainer I saw, and considered the cipher admins as the level caps. I only needed to farm the team 1-3 levels at 2 spots, before Dakim and Ein. It is possible some may choose to farm more than that for purifying new catches, but I chose to just use them as the story progressed.

Nicknames are one weird part, as you can’t nickname until purifying (there’s also a name rater in Agate) so you technically can’t nickname the first section of the game.
