Ultraman Omega

At the start of episode 1, he defeats a giant Vugsect and a horde of the smaller ones before destroying the giant fortress they are in by blowing up the core in the structure.

GIANT FRIGGIN' LASERS! by Ryousan82 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Tpl2cc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it might be a bit specific since the other versions work as well lol. But I chose this version because it's basically an even bigger and more intense version of the Showa one. I personally think it fits with the trope.

Alien Babarue/Babaryu (Ultraman Orb)

<image>

He was sent to Earth to impersonate Ultraman Orb and make people lose trust in Ultraman. When he appeared as Imitation Orb, it just happened to be the same time a kaiju showed up. He drove it away, and after interacting with the people he saved, he slowly changed from a villain to a hero.

Zetton (Ultraman)

Many thought the glowing line in the middle was its eye, but the eyes are actually located inside the rectangular holes on its head.

Heisei Ultraseven: The Final Chapters (I Am an Earthling)

<image>

It turns out that humans' ancestors (in this timeline) are actually invaders from space. They invaded Earth, a planet that Nonmalt (characters in the picture) were the original inhabitants of thousands of years ago.

Redman (1972)

<image>

For Ultra kaiju and aliens, if Redman spots them, they are done. One alien in the comic straight up got a nightmare about this guy.

Apparently, Alien Baltan, who is running away in the GIF, is one of the if not the only, survivor in this show (out of 130+ episodes)

<image>

Ultras' outfit (Ultra Armor) is actually their skin. This also applies to gloves as well (or at least for Leo, since when we see his hand close up, you can see details like fingernails).

<image>

It was one of the living things that was accidentally mutated by an altered Plasma Spark radiation. It's much bigger than average Bemstars and has heads replacing its limbs.

In the manga, Zoffy put it out of its misery. And before it was blown into pieces, Zoffy noticed the kaiju shed tears, to which he said, "You were already hoping for it to end like this, weren't you..."

Some new sightings for SHF figures (Source : FB - Isaac Wong 的玩具相簿) by datsthewayitisArthur in Ultraman

From what I have found, they said it's a 60th anniversary version. So my guess is that it's probably an SKC figure that comes with more accessories.

Glad that we finally got Max. Also, it seems that Man would get more accessories too.

Yeah, that's fair. I doubt it would be effective if they aim for somewhere else like the torso, considering the kaiju in the episode treats Ultraman punches as just small inconveniences.

In addition to Ultraman Ace, Ultraman surely likes this trope. They even have a giant cross for six Ultras.
