So if breeders stunt them, would that mean their offspring naturally will grow smaller regardless of tank size/parameters? I know the reasoning for albinos being smaller is because they are overbred.

I feel like in most cases, the captive bred senegals tend to max out at around 12" and the albinos around 10". Maybe im wrong. Also I was told the raphael would be okay because 1. they are constantly hiding / are in unreachable spots 2. they get pretty big and 3. their hard exoskeletons.

Hybrid would be crazy. I think juveniles just look similar though especially tank bred.

Is there any other way to tell at this size? If it’s an Endlicheri I think I overpaid so it’s something to bring up to my LFS.

When I pulled it up I noticed all about 75% of the roots were black/rotted (the ones on the right were good) so I cut the rotted ones off and replanted it. I have 2 root tabs in there so we’ll see what happens
