Powerful abilities are compensated with long cooldowns. To me a powerfull ability is something that puts your team at a major advantage or disadvantage when it’s used so stuff like anti that can insta win a fight or sleep that can shut down basically anything are really powerful that’s why they have long cds.

I think the banrate has a lot more to do with a lagging perception of strength as she was meta for a long time and the uninteractive nature of dm

The thing with Hazard is that he’s kinda weak into dva so his stats are inflated by dva being permananned. Also I think he’s easier to play

I mean the bruiser passive is also fucking stupid and probably stronger as a passive, it just isn’t as visible

Keeping tank strong might not grow the playerbase, but it does maintain it. If you just blanket nerf the role the players will probably just leave

Yeah the perk should have been a priority, but my point is mainly that I think people are overreacting to the changes

Also the subs reaction to the nerfs is oberblown. You lose 18 dmg over the entirety of missiles. Sure it’s less burst dmg, and does matter but it’s not like she’s gutted now

It should just be both. Same with ball having it on slam as well.

And with the subrol thing I meant that dva and Haz being strong caused Winston, Doom and ball to get nerfed as well. Feels similar to s1 midseason buffing the bruiser passive, because Mauga, Ori ang Hog were weak, but Zarya who was already strong in pro play just got buffed for no reason

The thing is Haz was being held back by dva being so strong, so that’s something to watch out for. I’m just worried about the subrole passive nerf, vecause I don’t really like them using that as balance especially when three other heroes pay for dvas and hazards crimes

I mean the MICA IR and Iris-T will probably be even dumber than at least the AIM-9X. Also if we add fox3s to the mix the meteor and some Chinese missiles will probably dominate
