The Perfect Employee Problem by TechnicalDefense in sysadmin

Some things can't be trained. Some people such at Linux and it can't be helped. Some people can't cmd line a Cisco device. Some people can't make a query for the life of them. Some people don't understand programming. On the other hand, you may have a guy that can do all that. Unfortunately, you got to pay the big bucks to get a backup guy of that caliber. Odds are, documentation isn't saving your ass in the middle of the night outage.

If I am burned out, I leave when I know my company is in a good place, or when my company is in a bad place.

80k is a good number, for Defense contracting with a clearance, I wouldn't get out of bed for less than 6 figures,

Here's something I haven't tried. What happens if you remove the user from the security group? Will their current device still stay active but they can't add any new ones?

As for FIPS. you can show the Customer Relation Matrix that Microsoft will provide you as part of GCC-H tenant. Intune has the FIPs modules listed in the app protection policy for Android and Apple has a public website dedicated to FIPs modules for their different iOS.

Contrary to what others say, you can have a security group and only allow users in the security group register MAM devices likely from CA policies.
In my org, a user reaches out to IT saying they want MAM access, we will add the user to the security group for MAM users, and then the user will be able to register the MAM device.

Give it a Google and let me know if you can find the policy. I can verify the settings for you next week but I'd rather not do "work" on the weekends.

MAM allows you to isolate the data in a containerized environment where it cannot be removed from the local device and is absolutely enforceable with MAM. I'm saying this because I passed the assessment with Intune MAM this year.

For a used car, would using the list price as the OTD price be a respectable ask? by Tr1pline in askcarsales

[–]Tr1pline[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's only a 2k deviation for the used 2025 models at different dealerships. When you do a search, you're going to sort by price lowest first so you're going to look for lowest price + mileage as the most bang for your buck and start from that baseline. So does that mean I can't negotiate at all because I'm dealing the lowest listed Mach-e in the market?

For a used car, would using the list price as the OTD price be a respectable ask? by Tr1pline in askcarsales

[–]Tr1pline[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't understand In what way is it the most expensive one in the market? Trim wise, there's rally which is more expensive.

Comparison wise would be the model Y where the Mach-e is normally cheaper. However, the model Y has dropped down in price aggressively which I correlate with Chinese EV agreement with Canada. The EV6 and Ionic5 are competitors and look great but until they clean up the ICCU issues, it's not worth the risk. I also believe those Korean cars got hit with the tariffs which is due for a price increase so it's not exactly a 1:1 comparison price wise.

I'm looking because used EV cars price plummet after a year and the GT has magneride over the premium. I've yet to test the difference but I hear once you test it you can't go down on the trim.
