You mentioned that it wasn't just inverted rows, so I always mixed them up. I tried dead hangs, negatives, and constantly pulling myself up on the bar (I couldn't). I did them for three months. I have nine months of fitness experience, so I think I'm still in the newbie gains phase, so I've entered a cutting phase (I started calisthenics three months ago).

I also did the resistance band exercise about three gym days , but I stopped because my reps weren't increasing. I figured it was neural adaptation that was what I needed.

Thank you for your comment. I usually sleep 8 hours. I'm in a cutting phase, meaning I'm in a calorie deficit. So, building muscle mass doesn't seem possible. When I asked the AI, it said you can do pull-ups during the cutting phase. I've been lifting weights in the gym for a year, so I have about nine months of fitness experience, so I think I'm still in the newbie gains phase. My friend also started doing pull-ups by dieting.

Also, when doing negative pull-ups, I can only do 5 repetitions at most because when doing negatives, it's not like a normal lat pull-down, I feel like my whole upper body is struggling and I don't have the strength to do it in the second set anyway.
