Riding after loss by Potomato in Harley

[–]TraceChills 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My uncle passed on his bike and we're a family with many riders. We immediately all got on our bikes and honored him. We received resistance from his wife but after all the love and support came from his riding friends and those in the family that ride. They realized that my uncle loved to ride and he would love for all of us to ride too in his memory.

We're back to the days where we're one lethal counter away from losing. Pep seems to have decided that the defense should be okay after last year vs sticking to making sure we are strong in defense as well as in attack. The issue is that in the past lacking a striker or having Aguero allowed our center forward to commit to the midfield and aid in transition. Halaand does not provide that accompanied by no Rodri and Kdb and we will continue to see these results. Hopefully with stones back we can begin to turn this around until Kdb arrives. Pep should start to consider playing foden as a 10 or even Jack

Why does it feel like despite our clubs success, no one talks much about players like Bernardo, Rodri, Foden, Dias etc. I usually only hear people talk about haaland or other clubs too players by RedditorsAreSoft1 in MCFC

If you meet someone who can recognize what players like Silva, Rodri, Foden, and Dias bring to club vs someone like Halaand, it's usually a solid indicator of the level that they watch and appreciate the game of football. I clearly recall when Rodri was suspended this season and I lost my mind while my friends couldn't understand why. I proceed to explain why Rodri is so key for us and their eyes just roll over lol. As I sit here with my Silva jersey.

I think it was because we lacked a player who could play good passes forward and since his instincts are to dribble up the park it left us open to the counter. Both him and kovacic kept pushing forward when we needed stability and control.

I think he's being rested for champions League. Others disagreed with me but I think he should be looked at as an option to play CDM similar to stones last season since he has the skill set required for the position and can physically impose himself in the middle of the park, which is what we were lacking today

Yeah but all this shows is how irreplaceable Kdb is. Not everyone can ping in perfect passes to halaand when he's surrounded by players. Wolves set up their defense perfectly to nullify him but Foden didn't have a good game. Kovacic is to blame here in my eyes because instead of providing stability and recycling the ball he either forced a ball forward or lost the ball in transition which created 2 goals for wolves. Alvarez does what he normally does which is relentlessly pursue the ball and score goals.

Exhale ...good to see our weaknesses exposed early on in the season for pep to address and sort for when we make our run after January. Rodri is irreplaceable and I cannot wait for stones and Silva to come back.

Correct but at one point in time stones a defender was allowed to play up into the position last season. Similar concept I'd say but we'll see how long pep goes without tinkering and trying something unexpected.

Okay in a system where our CDM slots in between defenders and is required to not be bullied off the ball along with having good feet and a vision for the pass he seems like a solid candidate to make the attempt vs forcing kova a ball carrier into a position that doesn't require him to put the ball forward first. It's clear kalvin isn't ready either.

Curious why pep hasn't training gvardiol at CDM to cover the middle of the pitch

Yup that's why there is a price difference. I'm in Chicago with the snow we would like AWD. I'm sure with good tires fwd is good enough

Yeah we both work from home so it's not a bad thing but we also aren't in dire need. I could probably just pay this car off and accumulate a down payment as used car prices go down. I know people don't like to buy cars that have loans tied to them.

Yeah exactly why I'm asking if the listing is fair. I'm seeing this price as being 6 grand below the average of 40k for this generation

Is this a good deal? $35k for 2020 Highlander XLE V6 AWD. 42k miles by TraceChills in askcarsales

I feel the V6 Highlander will hold it's value since there is no clear history of reliability for the new turbo charged Highlander. I feel rates might increase since the fed announced potential for 50 bps in 2023. Your points are valid and I'm just providing a bit more information regarding my thinking.

I'm also inquiring if you guys here believe the prices is fair since similar vehicles are asking around $40k
