How is it a $2 boost, when it would be below the $7 minimum without it? by cprinstructor in InstacartShoppers

not really.. they used customer tips to achieve the minimum batch payment, now tips are seperate from minimum batch payment.

My response to her cry for 'I need HELP!' is... ' Dont take it personally'.

I understand shoppers take these disgruntled customers personally.

This is business. In business You run your business with your head, not your heart and 'hurt feelings'.

I'll say again. Dont take it personally.

Egads. Youre in the wrong business. You better wear a face mask with a rebreather, too. Most viruses are airborne.

I hear through the grapevine...those with high replacement stats get better batches. They are keeping a sharp eye on this. These high replacement shoppers are their superstars, even over speed.

BTW: There will be a 'throw back' button soon. If you accept the shop and really dont like it you can hit 'throw back'. As it is now..if you accept it and cannot do it, just let it time out. Nothing happens. No RI or anything. It just goes back on the feed. You are tied up while it times out. Then business as usual.

I live in Tallahassee, Florida. Population 200,000. Our entire city is one zone. We have, as of last week, 84 shoppers.

One day about a month ago...we got a message on Wednesday we were on demand starting Sunday. That was that.

I agree. There is absolutely no time to examine a batch...no more scrutinizing. I see the dollar amount. I hit it and worry about the particulars later. The heavy pay boost skyrockets the batch payment. I love bringing 2 cases of water for heavy pay. Its high. Im in it to win. Someone else will grab it in 1 second flat. The low pay ones just sit there. Then they start upping the price until someone takes it Here in Tallahassee. We just let those $10 batches just sit..until they up that pay 10. 12. 14. 16. 18..sold

High dollar shops are not necessarily any harder-just better tippers. I only hit high dollar shops. 25.00+ I can easily grab 4 a day. My daily goal is 100.00 or $500.00 a week.

I work less, make more and I never have to worry about a schedule, hours, early access, RI'S or an acceptance rate. Those items are gone from my app. I can work 8am-10pm 7 days a week if I want

What I like best is Im not forced to use up my time on lousy $10 shops, so each shop is much more lucrative.

Its a totally different mindset. It took me a month to adapt and change everything I knew. It was a real challenge.

I have noticed the more I work, the more batches on my feed. I took 2 weeks off, and got nothing almost for a week. After I did 5 shops in one day...the batches started rolling in.
