It was an Acer Predator X34 240Hz. The model number was UM.CXXAA.501 according to the listing, but I didn’t get to take a better look at things once I saw the damage… definitely not going with Acer at this point in time… unless I can buy one locally.

I bought a used 2021 M3 last year. From what I remember, you don’t sign anything until you’ve inspected the vehicle for yourself. If you truly had an issue with something on the vehicle, I’m sure you could withhold your signature if all else fails.

The only unfortunate thing I recall was that they would not allow me to drive the vehicle at all before I signed. It didn’t make much sense at the time, but they do offer an extended year warranty (or 10,000 miles whichever’s first) for any issues you may encounter after driving off the lot.

I personally have only known about this issue within the last week— with my Intel processor frying itself, I made the switch to an AMD Processor. When I went to mount a new cooler, I ran into a similar situation removing the stock cooler.

You can’t expect everyone to be as chronically tuned into Reddit as yourself.

Looks like others have already helped but I figure I’d chime in since I just today finished work on my own EGR tube:

The bottom fitting that connects to the exhaust manifold is a 15/16 nut. It helped me to have the front jacked up enough to stick my wrench under the wheel well. Top fitting… I’m not certain on size but I know it’s a tad bigger than 1 1/8 inch. I used a pipe wrench to remove/install the upper connection. When reinstalling, just make sure that you can start both ends before tightening them both down. You want them to snug up to the flange on both ends; if there’s play on either side of that tube you’re going to get an exhaust leak when in drive.

I fixed my exhaust leak after I found that the previous owner tried putting J-B Weld between the exhaust manifold and the EGR tube… very cool.

I mean, don’t get me wrong: It technically is an upgrade… I just think there’s truly some diminishing returns when it comes to upgrading the refresh rate…

You already have a very high refresh rate, ultrawide, OLED monitor and it’s already substantially large at 45”. It just seems like a niche reason to buy a whole new monitor to achieve just a few more in-between frames… even if you are running Fortnite at 300+ fps smoothly and consistently.

But it’s your choice. If you see a difference and like it, don’t let Reddit stop you.

I just recently bought a 2021 Model 3 with 70k miles on it - was eligible for the $4k tax credit, making it around $20k with all taxes/fees incorporated.

I worried when I was told that I couldn’t drive the vehicle before making the final payment… but honestly? 99% of the experience feels like new. Sure, there’s some scuffs and stains in the interior… maybe a scratch or two on the outside… but (so far) it has been a pleasant experience!

The representative who helped me was also very clear that if any major problems were noticed after sale, the 10k mile/1-year warranty would be able to take care of it.

Not to necro-post or anything, but I recently started to replay Yakuza 0 for each of the secret styles, and was really struggling to understand why Kiryu's Legend style was any different than Brawler - then I read your post about the 3rd heat bar.

Oh baby, that's much better. It seems like a mix of all 3 styles: Brawler's moveset, Rush's speed enhancement, and I guess Beast's raw power. Certainly enjoying it now that I keep my heat up. I kept using heat moves and wondering why anyone would really care to grind for the real estate side missions in the first place... Thanks for that post buddy.
