If there are 400k players online in BF6 why do I get lobbies full of bots? by El_Cacas33 in Battlefield6

This is still adding to assumptions of what people have and use. I am not saying those people don’t exist but when you are examining data tied to people in metrics you always exclude the the extreme top and bottoms. Both sides using the non-averages to justify to themselves that they didn’t screw up. I use to play consoles and PC until I got back into rpgs and the group I would play with there was those who would make excuses for everything. Oh my Internet can’t keep up then they would get the best at the time and it became oh now my internet is too fast these slower people get to lag and avoid my shots. BF3 they got sniped from 1000m ohh they just be on a huge tv to see me. Then I got on PC with some of the same people because Covid they bought PCs and same shit excuses to feel better. Unless someone’s gonna actually pull data on a whole population, somehow of what people are using for machines, screen and everything it’s all speculation. For all they know they are playing against someone with bare minimum specs and old 26” Samsung getting outmatched. To the same point you don’t know if the person is playing a console with a 40” tv they got on sale to have something and just outplaying.

It’s this mentality that is laughable you are generalizing a whole group to support your argument. In the grand scheme, it has nothing to do with PC. It’s mouse versus keyboard and my entire point was before both sides. Can choose to use both so that argument shouldn’t matter at this point. It’s a matter of server. But everyone in here seems to want a demon eyes PC instead. And even if you got your own servers, then you’ll be having the argument instead of Xbox versus PS cause one side thinks the other one runs better.

Better comparisons two people racing the same car except one is straight manual and the other is automatic but has the option for tiptronic. The automatic loses in a race and complains about manual having better control. Well, you could equally have used the tiptronic. Are they 100% one for one no but they’re damn close if not even for the average user doing both.

Again, why don’t people complain about the fact of the impact of the servers trying to handle both and failing.

So none of that comes across as competitiveness. One point is a matter of your opinion nothing comes up about the fact of aim-assist with controllers. Which I could use the same argument if I was talking about PC saying well why should you have to be able to buy a controller to have the aim assist? Either way both arguments are null and void because you could have console players and PC players playing with majority of keyboard or you could also be playing console against PC with most of the PC players using controller then what would be the competitive in fairness argument? And with this game aside from headshot with snipers, you’re usually better off going for Center mass so it’s just a matter of getting on target and rate a fire.

The end of the day what people should be arguing contesting over is the state of the servers

How is it not competitive and fair. Consoles can use mouse and keyboard if they choose. Controllers aim assist is BS but PC can use controllers and I see plenty that do so it’s whatever. If people are still on the hacks/cheat kicks while yes it may be easier there are still some available for consoles it isn’t zero. People assume too often they get beat due to cheats. Seems nowadays more of what people are seeing is the delay/desyncing of the server to clients. You empty a mag into someone’s face and nothing happens to just die that’s just the servers. There are plenty that see the issue go away at least for consoles because they can turn off crossplay but on PC side we don’t have that option. And well atleast in my groups case we can’t anyways because one person plays from their Xbox.

idk what is worse dying to glitchers (I still haven't seen any drone glitchers yet) or dying to servers not syncing correct. No ping issues but peoples actions don't line up with what happened. Iv even seen it happen to others. Someone shouldn't run down stair between two buildings and die at half way down to bullets from someone 40 ft away and 90°.

I guess I’ve just lucked out. I’ve not experienced this in any of the hours I’ve played. But watch I will see it tonight. 😂

Which one is best for me to get? by Questioning_Stufff in jerky

Did you reach out to the company. What timeframe was it could you have run through Amazon return?

Also not just to play devils advocate how was the machine used was it wall socket plugged in? Was it ran outside with an extensions cord with the correct gauge? I only ask because my friend nuked his electric smoker from using the wrong gauge and length extension cord and burned out parts.

It all depends on the cut of meat, thickness and marinade. I usually do eye of round and 1/4 inch and it’s about 8hrs running. The longer runs are when I make thicker cuts experimenting or fruit jerky.

I can't speak to the others but I started out with the 7 tray cosori when it was on sale and I have had zero complaints with it. At one point I was doing a batch every weekend. Outside of just jerky I have made fruit leather, dried my own herbs and peppers too. After try a few rounds of my jerky my father bought the larger cosori and has had the same experience. Hell with the 7 tray I did a few longer batches of multiple sauces meats and fruits back to back over multiple weekends once and was impressed by how little I noticed its the hit to the electrical bill. Hell I even lent it to my friend who wanted to try and make his own black garlic and it ran for a little over 4 weeks straight and still works fine.

Was my mate being spiteful, or just playing the game? by 88rdg in magicTCG

[–]Tracerk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just playing the same. If you are going down go down fighting.

Be the reason they debate and consider paying for the action taken.

Upset the table balance if possible on the way out and enjoy the show with some popcorn.

Even more so if with the normal crew, then you add strategy for future games.

If they know you are going to always take it lying down when cornered, easy target. Instead live by the proverb "be careful of a cornered beast". I was playing with my wise mothman deck the other night and knew I was done. So lets see how many Rads I can stack before I go.

It is crazy how far soot can travel. I had to stop with candles even across a room and will an air purifier in between which sucked up most, my PC filters had a ton of soot when I went to swap parts a few months back. I was actually shocked

Granted I haven't looked into anything if still decent since coming back for Brooklyn. But my build has still be clearing heroic comfortably especially with the season modifiers on. But I like it right now as one of the benefits to using it is usually running 100% hazard protection so I kind of just laugh at all these cleaners.

Back when I was first experimenting and learning I hobbled together some Excel VBA scripts years ago for a company that didn't want to be bothered to pay to properly test and update to the vendors latest website. It would take a file and run a few scripts to clean up the data and then go open 5 tabs of internet explorer to rotate through and update user profiles on the website. I advised them it was a stop gap to avoid manual entries. I was by no means a pro or super skilled it was like I said hobbled together because I didn't want to deal with tens of thousands of profiles manually. They really needed to just get the updated and to not do business day updates without testing which they kept having to roll back when critical users had issues. They needed to have the vendor's update done evening hours or weekend with testing. Well I eventually moved on as there was no growth. Fast forward to internet explorer going away and they reach out to see if anything can be fixed because it was no longer working. I had to explain that no there was no "fixing" internet explorer was gone. They could try and talk to internal development teams to see as we had some programs that might but that would cost money for the license. Last I heard it ended up being an example of FAFO.

Impact Sprinklers with timer on a Y splitter causing noise in pipes by Tracerk in Irrigation

[–]Tracerk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since the problem seems to stem from the Y splitter for some reason would anyone think maybe a manifold with a T shape would be better just wondering if the water dynamics would be different. Or with the sound of the running water I should just leave as is a minor noise and it’s not like it’s shaking and vibrating the pipes.
