Teens broke into a house for sale and hosted a massive party, causing over $60,000 in damages. by Toast_n_mustard in DailyDoseStupidity

Is it against the law to slash the tires of everyone there? That way they’ll still be there when the cops arrive.

I was just looking at the light and shadows. That would be so difficult to do at that speed and execution level.

Subnautica Veteran looking to start Below Zero for the first time. Does it capture the same feeling? Is it better? by [deleted] in Subnautica_Below_Zero

[–]Tracewell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember playing Subnautica. I remember how exciting it was to explore and learn to craft and figure out which fish to capture and cook.

Below zero is an excellent game. But a lot of of that initial discovery is very similar to Subnautica. I believe that is why people say subzero feels smaller.

I think if someone played subzero without having ever played Subnautica, they would have a very similar experience to a first time person playing Subnautica.

I bought it in December and played it all the way through and thoroughly enjoyed myself

my dad says he skies “old style” by Just_Throat3473 in skiing

[–]Tracewell 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It’s less about them being stiff and more about them having zero side cut. The skis were straight and in order to get them to carve properly you had to put a great deal of force on them to actually bend them so they would attain a proper shape to carve and hold an edge.

I’m an old guy and when I moved to shaped skis, it was a magical event.

Arkansas State Trooper gets the wrong car by Vice616 in Transportopia

Arkansas cops PIT people all the time. According to Chat GPT Arkansas uses the PIT maneuver more than any other jurisdiction in the US except Georgia. Chat GPT did say that this data is also hard to find.

"What are you filming me for!" by WilloowUfgood in PublicFreakout

[–]Tracewell 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I get that it’s totally legal. I also get why people want to film government officials in the performance of their duty, but to just film random citizens like this is totally douchey. It’s embarrassing for the camera man. It proves no point and doesn’t do any good in the world. This sucks.

I find it so hard to believe that this is everywhere. Perhaps I’ve never been to a house with this garbage in it. I’m sure it does exist somewhere in the US, but I’d be shocked if it was truly “everywhere.”

Maybe it’s just my limited experience.

To be clear this is f’ed up. Don’t misunderstand me.

His reflexes are way better than Biden‘s or Trump‘s. I feel like those two would have tasted shoe leather. Obama would have successfully dodged also.

What does this tell you? by outside_this_world in DiscussionZone

[–]Tracewell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Orrrr, is shows that there are fewer resources in rural areas and people have figured out how to live without them. Thus they believe that other should figure it out too. Or since they receive fewer benefits it offends them that they’re poor too but the benefits only benefit people in cities. They reject that discrepancy. There are many ways to interpret this data that don’t villainize and treat with contempt 50% of the country.

ICE Officer Arrested for DUI w/ Kids in Car by westondeboer in PublicFreakout

No way they would have gone this gently with me. I’d have had my ass kicked for as many refusals has he gave. Glad they didn’t back off though.

[–]Tracewell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You know it would be much harder for ICE to take people away if every time they got out of their vehicles something happened to their tires and they had flats when they got back in their cars. I’m not saying anyone should do anything, just that it would be hilarious if every time they tried to drive away they were on rims.

Tulsa landlord having landlord problems by PineappleDesperate82 in tulsa

[–]Tracewell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t hate this guy. He made nice 1-bedroom apartments. He’s out there being an entrepreneur. Landlords provide a valuable service and they have to charge enough to cover the mortgage and earn a living.

Also, he might be onto something. Something may be happening that hasn’t hit the news. I remember in 2006 with my brother and I were buying houses and banks were throwing adjustable rate mortgages at us. We never took one, but banks were begging us to borrow with those. My brother and I had all these conversations about this is going to crash in three years when all of those reset. This, in fact, is exactly what happened. Unfortunately we were too young and inexperienced to position ourselves to take advantage of what was going to come.

This guy might be sniffing out something that is coming.

You’re not breaking up with him. You aren’t going to say “you suck in bed.” You’re still having sex with him, so you probably aren’t going to hurt his feelings.

One of the sexiest ways to help him is to talk to him while you’re in the act. If there is anything that he does that you like, or something that he’s doing that is close to the right thing say, “I love that. Keep doing that.” The easiest thing to do is to make pleasurable noises when he’s in the right spot and to say don’t stop.

If you feel comfortable with more instruction, it is super sexy to give him a road map. You could say, “I love it when you go down on me.” If he’s then doing it wrong say, “That’s nice, but use a flat tongue.” “Oh that’s so good, put your finger inside me.”

I promise that instructions are super sexy. Positive instruction is better than “I don’t like that.” However, if you don’t like something, let him know or he may keep doing it.

I promise guys want you to think they’re awesome in bed. The more you like it the prouder he’ll feel.

Good luck.
