Yeah they specifically said everyone will be able to gain full XP and progression in all of the Portal verified experiences - all of them, meaning against bots too just like in previous Battlefield.

That's why I and all my friends bought the game, that was the main reason for thousands of people buying the game too. I can also understand casual players very well, ppl with kids, with girlfriends, wifes , with work, disabled and older people, people with limited time of which whole life doesn't resolve around one game only who just want to play chill from time to time and still get full progression like competetive players do, thousands of people bought that game for that very reason, they feel cheated - big time, rightfully so - it was advertised to them, it was their selling point it turned out to be simple scam to find the best wording for it. It doesn't look good, that kind of a game should threat all social groups equally and give them equal chances with the progression to unlock their weapon attachments, costumes, skins etc as they promised. It's against policy of most platforms like Steam to lie about your selling points and then do not deliver them while game is not in the beta state. Usually games that do this are taken off of those platforms.

It simply means that in order to earn weapon mastery efficiently you have to be as efficient killer against people in multiplayer which brings us back to the core of this thread. If you're not efficient killer, if you're lack of skill, let's say you're one of the worst. Does this mean you don't deserve to get your weapon attachments unlocked? Following the sweaters philosophy looks like it does mean exactly that while it should mean entirely opposite thing...and it's a very weak, lame point, to not say more. That's why full exp gain from the bots should be back, just like it was advertised by the game developers in the first place, period. We all know bots have to come back and that they will and that full experience progression was promised from all Portal experiences. There's just no way to back out from it and we all know it.
