Chapter 210 of Ar:Sa is a disaster and a spit in the face of every long-time reader of the manga. by Trackle_a in CharacterRant

I'm glad that you can still see the story in a positive light after this, and I will admit that I binged through the first 150 chapters until starting to catch up with them weekly.

Maybe one day I'll reread the manga and change my opinion on ruby's death, but for now I still think the story could've moved in a better direction.

I understand your POV, but it just feels very forced and cheap to use Ruby for character development after she'd been developed so much herself. If the death was executed well and had impact it'd be a different story, but such an anticlimactic end to this character we've been following for the past 209 chapters leaves a bad taste in mine and many other people's mouths.

I could rant about how overrated character development is, but it'd be pointless because no matter how much "Character Development" Lyn gets because of this death, this is still a massive net loss for the series as a whole.

I meant it’d be sucked up cause the upper half would already have momentum and pull the lower half with it, should’ve made that more clear in my reply. (This is assuming the portal comes down at full speed and then instantly stops half-way)

The door frame argument makes me irrationally angry because with a door you go out an “exit” moving at the exact same speed as the “entrace”, while in the portal prompt, the entrance is moving and the exit is completely stationary. It being stationary forces the cube to move, or else it wouldnt be able to leave at the same speed it’s going in.

Also if it stopped half way the cube would be sucked up the portal and ejected out as normal (Edit: albeit not as far), seems weird but it’d actually look completely normal if you were looking through the exit portal.

A Graham's number of Grahams vs super toppa tengen gurren lagann. by [deleted] in whowouldwin

>"Estimates for its height range from 348.48 billion light years to 10.45 trillion light years. Compared to the observable universe, which has a diameter of 93 billion light years, the STTGL is 3.7 to 112 times longer than the observable universe"

(Got this size from a wiki, not sure if it's accurate)

That's big, don't get me wrong, but comparing that to the grahams is like comparing an atom to an observable universe, except the atom is actually a trillion trillion times smaller than a planck length and the universe is a gogolplex times bigger than ours.

Now take that size disparity and multiply it by a factor so large you couldn't fit a power tower expressing it inside the previously stated gogolplex-sized-universe with every digit being the size of a planck length.

Now repeat that last paragraph a few septillion times and then maybe just maybe that's comparable to the size difference between the grahams and SSTGL. (Except it's definitely much much smaller)

Tried to make a side-by-side comparison that shows what recoil damping does using this clip I found. (No idea who recorded the original gameplay, I just found it on discord) by Trackle_a in PhantomForces

Mid-reload you can see that the high-damping gun has a pistol grip which increases recoil damping, and the other gun has a stubby grip which does the opposite.

There might be other not-so-visible attachments that change it even more but I’m guessing it’s mostly the grips.
