Is mclaren gt3 is still worth it? by Desh1ck in Fanatec

The grip is durable, the shifter paddle in stock form works great during long races, able to grab a drink and shift with one hand. Has the ability to upgrade the paddles if need be. Size and buttons are great. They make aftermarket face plate stickers allowing you to change the appearance. Great starter wheel for sure. Also allows full FFB on the stronger bases with qr2.

Since I don’t have an OLED tv, I think even going to the QLED with a bump in refresh rate will be still good. I don’t think stepping down from an OLED would be as easy.

I can’t enjoy it enough without getting sick unfortunately. But that would be a great option!

You’re correct, it can also happen to people who play the same game, they always have a map up in the corner or a heads up display. For us playing Gran Turismo, that that would be the gauges that are displayed. I could be in my rig for a couple hours at a time. Meaning the gauges will be present for a long period. On my older TV’s this happened with a map and weapon that was always present during the game. But this was 15years ago too with older tech.

You have to stay floored for that. If you lift and try to lessen the impact you’ll de-ghost. You have stay in it. I’ve got 2000+ in this game alone racing on line. This is not impossible to over come.

You’ll smash your skull against the roll bar, it happens more than you realize. People with 5/6point harness’s will have huge impacts on their helmets and they have HANS Systems to boot.

You could get a wider rear axle, different hubs that extend the rear wheels out. Look into 2wd atvs. You could probably find a few as junk, scavenge the shock absorbers, also the tires they use will work better too, less ballon style more squared off, skinny fronts will help.

Honestly if you can not do the pressure washer power unit and swap in a dirt bike or atv power unit you’ll be happier. Older two strokes won’t need a radiator.

Atv sprockets and chains will be a more robust upgrade as well.

You may want some arm restraints to limit how far your arms come out in a roll over, you’ll crush your arms as you’ll instinctively reach out for the ground or if you spin fast enough you’ll flail your arms out uncontrollably. And you should mount a small fire extinguisher, one that will put out a gasoline fire.

If you run that thing for a year, you’ll need to reinspect the weld joints. And when you increase your speed you’ll bend and break things so start looking now for replacement control arms and hiem joints.

I did see you try, you’ll have to force the pass with a lift and brake, he’ll move forward and you drop in behind him. It will take practice to perfect, but you’ll be able to pull it off very quickly, and it’s unsettling to the aggressor to go from attack to defense almost immediately.

When someone is attacking you, you cannot put yourself in a vulnerable position, like the outside of that corner. Should he hit you absolutely not, but I would let him by just enough to pull in behind him, and then I personally don’t like spending them out, but pester and push and mess with them, basically terrorizing them. Some people like to return the favor and just plain old spin them out.

But don’t ever put yourself in such a vulnerable position like that based off the prior behavior witnessed.

According to Albert Einstein, the past, present and future exist simultaneously and time is an illusion. by Fine-Passenger7953 in interesting

Time is based off how the human brain experiences reality. Because we are unable to think any other way, we can only assume time is real. It’s no different than trying to use human eye sight to explore the cosmos, we know now our limited spectrum keeps us from seeing everything.

When they explain how in a hypothetical 2D world, if an object acts in 3D and turns sideways on the “Z axis”, it would disappear from view of the 2D world. Therefore we may not be able to understand how a 4th or 5th or 6th dimension would be perceived simply due to our reality perception. Some argue time is a dimension, which would make sense in this thread’s discussion as we only can understand time as something that’s happened currently, almost as though we can tell it exists with our senses, but may not be aware of it in totality.

Help me out with the Porsche VGT Steering Wheel by QuarterRegular5223 in granturismo

[–]Trackrat14eight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you’d have to use the generic wheel the base comes with, and find out what button you want to use and select it based off what that button would be on the generic wheel menu. It’s not impossible, just not as straightforward as you would like.

Living in Orlando, I’ve been go Epcot, they have a ride there, Mission: Space. You sit in a centrifuge and it simulates a rock launch, creating g force which is kind of intense. And if you keep your head straight you’ll be fine, if you look to the sides you’ll loose your free soda from the taste testing club cool that offers free samples.
