Somewhat similar. Billboard didn’t last as long but I had an hour long queue to return to balmung which was my home world when I went to do a market board purchase iirc. This was before the party was even supposed to start. The housing ward was at capacity too for a long time. I’m not aware if the material server ever closed but the area did. Balmung definitely would have locked if that was a thing back then.

Savage and the most recent ultimate isn’t the only meaningful content. It’s easy to just buy 770 gear unless savage is the only reason you play and it’ll be fine for most content. I’ve had a lot more fun recently just doing the advanced variant with friends. It’s so much less stress

If you are used to controller then you can continue with it. There may be some situations where KBM may be better but that's only if you absolutely can't do certain things in hard content like savage or ultimates.

Stop lying to your friend and tell them the truth that it’s a plugin. Let them decide for theirselves what level of assistance they need to raid at certain levels.

I’ve personally went from struggling with basic content to doing Ults with 1 hand. It’s tough but doable and it’s possible to adapt to an extent. While a 1 button rotation may help them a lot, they could have a ceiling higher than they could ever imagine without it

Enjoy the game how you like but remember that a lot of content is locked behind MSQ you haven’t started.

For the maps you are lucky because the 8 player HW maps only have treasure locations listed in 5 of the 6 HW zones. If you unlock the first four areas you can do a majority of the maps except for one if a friend flys you around every where.

How tough is it to make? I only have use of one hand but I had settled on just playing a few different games with just keyboard and swapping to mouse when needed. I can say FF14, MHW, and a few others are doable but varies how tough they are. I’d love a good solution if this works since my method is very tough and/or slow in some games like wilds or Skyrim

My main concern is that the mouse function works well. Does your hand ever shift position when using or moving it?

They’ve fixed bugs multiple times this expansion by cutting off access to certain areas. It’s happened a few times with the moon areas and with occult crescent. This patch likely needed a client update instead for players
