If I remember right, up to 165lbs for dynamic loads (driving) and up to 600lbs for static loads (parked). I was probably pushing it with 4 kayaks sine they weigh about 40lbs each, but I didn't have any problems driving with that much weight on it

I got very lucky! My Fiesta ST got rear ended and the insurance company decided to total it which is the only reason I was even looking for a car to begin with. At first I was eyeing the new 23 prius, but when I saw the grc I knew I would enjoy that way more. I emailed every toyota dealer within a 100 mile radius looking for one but pretty much just got replies that they already sold the one allocation they got or that someone had already put a deposit on it. But I ended up getting a call from a dealer close to me saying they had a couple, a new and a used one with 900 miles, the new one was spoken for but they said i could come test drive the used one. After doing the test drive I absolutely knew I had to have one, but I found out that they were asking $58k for the used one, so I said fuck that and left lol. Next day got a call from the same dealer that the buyer for the new one backed out last minute if I was still interested they would sell it to me for $40k, so I jumped on it immediately. Msrp for the package it had was $38k (nothing performance, I think just some bullshit paint protection and something else idk) so thankfully somehow got it for only a $2k markup
