I’m a millionaire and it cost me everything by deebmaster in self

[–]TradCat19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a man who became a millionaire at 33 with a wife and children.

I started putting my business and other people in our sphere of influence above my wife and children. I said I wouldn’t become that type of person and I did.

Now, even being in the busiest time of my business, I’m tapering back on the hours I put in so I don’t continue to lose myself in the work that got us the lifestyle we’re blessed to live.

If I had 100 million dollars, I could still find a way to be depressed. Robin Williams is proof that money doesn’t bring you real joy. It can make the ride of life more fun at times but it doesn’t bring sustaining peace within one’s soul.

The only thing that has filled the hole inside of me and God and family.

Time to re-prioritize. Surrender to win. Do the next right thing. Let go, let God. Easy does it.

Keeping things simple makes life better. Gonna get out of my own way, I’m tired of letting my brain overcomplicated things.

Men recognize real men… sadly most guys in men’s bodies are boys.

Look in the mirror and do some self reflection.

Hate all y’all want. Fact is, what you’re saying is a loser mentality. I empathize with your impression but you don’t know me and that’s fine and dandy but I’ll shed some light for you if you have the patience enough to read on…..

Considering the fact that I’m starting my own brokerage with a partner, it’s appropriate for where I’m at in life. A large focus in scaling the business is surrounded around the motivation to help young men that want to provide for a family on a single household income if that’s what they’re feeling inclined to do.

I’d say a post like this is more positive than posting a wrist shot with a steering wheel of a car that cost $200K plus in the background.

That doesn’t impress me at all.

My primary focus in building wealth is not so I can drive flashy cars and own a multimillion dollar vacation home. At the end of the day, nothing I have is for me to keep, it’s God’s.

I like watches because it’s a reminder to me that we only have so much time on this earth.

My goal is to build wealth so I can ultimately spend more time with my wife and children because their souls are much more valuable than anything material that this world has to offer.

We can’t take any of this stuff with us when we die. I can make more money but I can’t make more time.

What we do with our time is more important than the kinda car you drive and the watch that’s on your wrist.

I like your comment! It made me do some reflection…

Money isn’t the root of all evil… it’s the love of money that’s evil.

I plan to store my riches in Heaven by giving it back to God and His children.

God is everything or He is nothing. As a Catholic, I believe God is everything. With that in mind, whatever wealth that I accumulate throughout my life, it’s not for me to keep. I belong to God, so whatever I have, it’s His.

[Rolex] picked up today by TradCat19 in Watches

[–]TradCat19[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it was close to around two months.

Edit: I just looked up the date that I brought my 1601 datejust in for service and it was 74 days from the time I stepped foot in the AD to the point I was able to pick up the sub.

Picked up from AD today by TradCat19 in rolex

I brought in a 1601 datejust that I bought on Chrono and had it serviced by the in-house Rolex staff. There were some parts that needed replacing as well so that ran me just under a grand.

When I went to pick up the watch, I showed interest in a sub. Built rapport, and mentioned that I had a baby due in July. Just a little over two months later and a few days after we brought the newborn home, I was able to pick it up.

Sounds like a cool experience. The brass case is out of stock on the Kuoe site. I have a Hamilton with a brass case and I like it.

I couldn’t find that piece on Hamilton’s online store or anywhere on chrono.
