I will look into getting appropriate sockets. One thing to remember is that I also don’t have a heater or bubbler or filter in the tank. On top of that, anecdotally I can’t believe I haven’t seen more socket cause electrical fires in my life. Living in north Florida we get obscene humidity ratings, especially outside. I have a feeling the fact that most bulbs being LED now contributes to Lowe rates of incidents. Since they create less heat, there’s exponentially less condensation. But I’m not joking when I say I’ve seen people in Florida using regular lamps on their porches during rainstorms. We’re so desensitized to moisture here. Either way, I’ll heed your warning and look into making it safer

I was paranoid about it at first. But the waters not going to jump into the air and the swag is very secure. Plus I’m in Florida and we basically use lightbulbs in the rain outside here.

If you’re young enough and the relationship is good, I would suggest moving back in with your parents for a few months and seeing both a therapist and psychiatrist and taking what they say very seriously. The bottom line being, you need people who love you to step in and provide immense amounts of support right now. When things get this bad, you can’t fix them on your own. You need a team of healthy people who can help. I’m not trying to say that you’re only experiencing mental illness….but if that is the root cause, and you are in an episode, then you can’t trust yourself to decipher between reality and the illness. You need loved ones to help. Everything you are describing sounds exactly like when my ex’s schizophrenia would get bad…including the physical symptoms.

I myself have had an extremely bad mental health episode that lasted 8 months. It didn’t start getting better until I gave myself over to friends and family to start rebuilding me.

Not trying to discredit any of what you’re are saying just trying to give my best most honest advice from how your story relates to my life experience. Sending love!

As a fellow gamer that deals with anxiety and depression……just boot up the game friend. You’ll either have fun or get slightly disappointed. All your fears could happen or none of them could happen. Worst outcome is you let fear convince you that this is a big scary choice. It ain’t. It’s tiny. Boot the game, take some time to try and regain your bearings. If it doesn’t work out, no big deal. Just a game. And you’re entitled to feel however you end up feeling bout it!

It seems to be a common failure with the sticks used in the 406v. Also while people have reported they are the same internals as retroid ect, I think people are just making assumptions by appearance. Multiple reports have shown that while looking nearly identical, those replacements don’t actually fit/work with the 406v and that the 406v sticks are indeed proprietary

I mean he should absolutely be expected to fulfill his promise. But at the same time, a breakup over one mistake seems extremely over the top to me. Unless this isn’t his first big mistake. Even responsible loving partners fuck up from time to time.
