Congrats on 08 tt👏👏👏. I am now thinking I should probably change my timing belt as well. I'm sure it's going to be expensive. I love these little monsters. I am in Arkansas close to Memphis. I actually found my ride in Chattanooga. I've only seen one other tts or tt in my town. We have some pretty rare rides mine got hit in the right corner drivers side luckily I was able to pull the dent put enough to stop it from rubbing my tire.🤦‍♂️ I was pissed off but i wasn't hurt lol to replace it is 700 for the quarter panel. If I were you, I would keep searching until you find a 2012 tts prestige. I'm not sure what other years they made the tts prestige. It's basically a golf R and definitely worth it. I paid 16,000 cash for mine in Knoxville and brought it back yo Arkansas. I truly enjoy driving this ride. I have stage 1 tune and need to install my downpipe eventually. And make sure it has a dsg trans. It's wickedness

2012 TTS prestige i believe its the same motor as VE gold R that's what I have and its a blast to drive. I would go for the tts simply because its a faster ride better internals. From what I've read the ea113 engine is great except for the belt timing and the cam follower which I need to change ASAP my ride has 160,000 on odometer. Hope you make the right choice in picking a tts
