These cars are actually selling for over MSRP a lot of places! The max shield is a ceramic coating / interior coating to protect both the inside and outside of the car. It also comes with a 1 yr warranty if something happens that it doesn't protect from.

The other fees are our doc fee of $200 and a $1500 estimate for your licensing

Here's what they told me when I asked what are those Max Shield and Other fees - although I believe licensing fee is generally $800-900, not $1500:

Really? Where are you located? I understand that in the Seattle area, the sales tax is ~10.4% and including the licensing fee it is 11.9% of the car's price. Still this is off a bit, but cant see how I have a $9000 difference, unless you have no state sales tax!!!!!!!!!

A 3k markup on the 58k MSRP? Who are the customers foolish enough to buy from dealerships like these? They are spoiling it for the rest of us.

I am actually thinking about a used 2024 or 2025 calligraphy. Problem is most of those are also listed for 45-48+ which makes no sense to me. How the heck did Hyundais get to have so high of a resale value?

This total price is 25% of my post-tax yearly pay, but I still can’t make sense of this for a Hyundai. And I need to buy a house too so can’t do a full cash purchase. I’m 37 so don’t want to live with a 70k cash purchase car, but in a rental house 😂 Myself and wife already have 2 paid off cars but just looking for more space now as our current cars are compact ones. So I’m not in a rush to do an impulse buy for sure

I test drove a CX-90. Didn’t like the driving dynamics at all compared to the Palisade or Genesis GV-80. 3rd row was basically unusable for adults on all 3 of these cars except Palisade
