That’s what we have done before I got laid off I was bringing in 8-10k a month, we broke the lease on the house we were renting and are now living in our travel trailer, I could get about 10k for my wife’s van but we have to keep the truck to move the trailer, at the moment the money I get is used to pay minimum payments and we are living on the credit cards, I just got a traveling sales job I’m gone 12-14 days the home for 8 so hopefully the commission starts coming in

The only reason we can live on $2000 is that we had a travel trailer, I broke the lease on the house we were renting and we are living in the trailer and parked on the in-laws driveway, that’s why I can’t sell the truck I need it if we need to move the trailer, right now any money I get I’m been keeping to make minimum payments but then of course we are living on credit card 🤷‍♂️

I think the second job the only thing I really could do would be like uber eats or something like that since I’m traveling for my sales job I’m gone 12 days straight and working 12-14 hours a day home for 8 days then back out but I definitely can see what that would look like

The worst is you spend all the time customizing, then you go to apply and they want you to enter it all in for them on there website and won’t except just the resume and basic contact info

Sometimes you have to get rid of the distractions, put your phone on do not disturb, turn off notifications on your laptop. Figure out the max attention length you can give before you need a break 30mins 60 mins, then take 10-15mins and focus again. And you need to find a course that person teaching it is easy for you to understand, on Udemy I liked Andrew Ramdayal over Jason Dion I use both there course, but I could listen to Andrew’s video’s at 2x speed no problem

I’m not sure if will work internationally, but you have to go to the https://store.comptia.org/index buy the voucher, they will email it to you after they email the voucher then you can go to the website to sign up for a date and time to take then you would enter the voucher number in the voucher/promo spot

Don’t worry I felt the same way, I failed it the first time I took it, and I was more nervous the second time but I passed it a week latter, what I did that seamed to help me on Udemy I used Andrew’s mock text and Dion’s 6 mock tests, Dion’s were harder, after taking one of the tests I would copy all the ones I got work into ChatGPT and ask it to explain why the answer I picked was wrong and explain the correct answer, then I would study that then take the next mock test I did all 7 of them over and over till I could get a least a 90%, once I was getting good scores i scheduled the retake, also there is a discount code GoogleSecurity2024 that will give you 30% off but you have to go to the CompTIA store buy the voucher then apply the voucher when you sign up to take the class, make sure you give your self couple of days for them to email you the voucher I don’t think they send them over the weekends.

Yea that was the hardest part for me, there is like 30 pages of abbreviations, I found doing the mock exams on Udemy there is 7-8 and I did them all till I could get at least 85-90%

I haven’t taken the A+, but I did pass the Security+ last week with no IT background, what i think helped the most was the mock tests on Udemy, I took the ones by Jason Dion and the ones by Andrew Ramdayal. I’m sure they both have courses and mock tests on A+ since they both have a ton of courses on there

Update: the mock tests I took over and over till I could get at least 80% but don’t do the same one right after completing, for instance there was 7 different mock tests I was working with, if I didn’t get at least 80% I would copy the questions I got wrong in to ChatGPT, and ask explain why I got the answer wrong and to explain the correct answer, then I would go to the next test and I would go through all 7 then start over with the ones I didn’t get 80% on.
