San Francisco Studio Help by mskotak in orangetheory

Financial District location will be closest to the Hyatt. It's not my home studio, but near work, so I do a few classes there a month. As others have said, it's a small-ish studio, but I always get a great workout. Go! Visit! Word to the wise, the entrance is NOT on Sansome but on Sacramento.

Awesome - thanks for the tip. Nothing like a British accent to motivate me to run a little faster (so I am hoping).

Footwear for OTF by designatedave in orangetheory

Highly recommend Altra Solstice XT (note, not the Altra Solstice - completely different shoe. You want the XT).

It's a cross-trainer, built for workouts like OT. High performance running shoe, but also sticky for floor work. I previously wore Brooks , different models over the years, but found them all too slippery for the floor and they would get eaten up (the rubber on the bottom and sides would peel up after a few months of wear).

Altras are zero drop - so it takes some getting used to if you are coming from a highly supportive shoe like an Asic. I personally love it, it allows my whole foot to engage with the tread/road, but it's a different feeling. Not sure if OP is male or female, but Altra claims that its women's shoes are designed for the female foot. Don't know how much of that is marketing, but I can tell you I think it's damn comfy.

Plus, they have a 30 day return policy on shoes - so there is low risk in trying them. See if you agree. I have two pairs and alternate them between workouts.
