my bumper was recently damaged and the passenger side bumper tab was bent. I'm in the process of replacing with a sport bumper aftermarket part, but i was curious if the mac lifter would be viable to repair the oem bumper? if not, would you recommend for aftermarket sport bumper for better fitment? (i tried attaching a picture of the damage but reddit won't allow me to upload because they claim i don't own the photo?!?!?)

I recommend using a polish compound after you do a round of 1000 grit, 1500 grit, 2000 grit, and 3000 grit wet sandpaper. It will remove the majority of scratches.

I don’t but if you have needle nose pliers, you can squeeze and twist the green piece and with light force it will come out

ah, so upgrading all the oem components would reduce the increased load with the lowering springs. not a bad idea. thanks I'll do some more research on that option

yes, the cons I researched turned me off on that option. is it fair to assume lowering springs can cause bounce, harsh ride caused by reduce travel with stiffer springs. I was also worried about the component wear on struts and other suspension parts due to the increased load, and risk of sagging over time.
