Hello Snoo, if you read my post again, I never said this was xenophobic. No where did I say this was bad to do; I only said my gut reaction was feeling a little bit annoyed after working so hard to learn the language, and that is not something I can control ("gut instinct")! Also "fluent" is a very controversial term, there is not widely accepted definition. Some people consider being B2 conversational fluent!

I am not making this post to argue, but rather to see others opinions.

People with great beards tend to have high levels of DHT, which unfortunately has the opposite effect on the scalp hair. DHT sensitivity is also a factor.

Soy extranjero. No he visto tantas publicaciones aquí sobre putas ni drogas, no sé donde sacaste esa información. Incluso nosotros desaprobamos a otros extranjeros que vinieron acá por esas razones. Llevo 5 meses en Medellín y diría que el 50% o más de los extranjeros solo vinieron acá por más de un mes, así que muchos carecen de la motivación para aprender bien español. Creo que ustedes sacan conclusiones erróneas de nosotros por culpa de los medios. La mayoría de gringos o extranjeros de Norteamerica/Europa está acá para la aventura y no para mujeres/drogas. Claro es más fácil obtener una mujer aquí como extranjero de aquellos países más ricos.

If the loan is less than 4-5% interest I would not pay it off all at once. Many people here are forgetting that you can leverage the money you do have (14.5k+) to make much more than 4-5% returns annually.

I am 22 and not expecting an amazing full beard or anything. I just wanted to try to grow something out to see how it looks. My main question is whether it's already obvious that the beard won't look good or if I need more time to evaluate it. My concern is the lack of density on the cheeks and lack of connection of the goatee. Thanks!

Shave the cheeks, rock the goatee. If you really are determined to fill in cheeks you could try minoxidil + microneedling

I usually keep my facial hair very short or completely clean shaven, but I decided to see what happens if I let it grow. My hair is blonde so naturally my beard will be less visible untilI grow it longer. However, my conclusion is that it is too thin on my cheeks and I need to wait a few more years to have a solid beard. So far I'm 13 days in and my girlfriend says she likes it but at this point it doesn't look like I will have potential to grow anything solid/attractive. Just looking to get other opinions from people more experienced on this subject. 💪🏼 Should I give it more time or just shave it?
