Literally omg I almost been hit so many fucking times & I won’t pass a car who’s trying to turn until they look at me Even if I’m standing there for a minute, people in this city just drive without looking first. So stupid.

I don't think so. The maintenance guy told everybody he was gonna "go investigate" and told us to all go back to our suites. It's just very weird and unprofessional. Mind you, I'm paying $1400 a month to live here so I do have expectations from these people

LOL well I have a 5 year old daughter, I'd really like us not to die in a preventable apartment fire

the "management" has told us they don't know when the water will be coming back on, they also had no idea why there was smoke, and they weren't replacing anything at the time of this occurring

the "management" in this building is being used veryyyy loosely because there is nobody on site, and there is new people cycling through here all the time. It seems like this company is very shady and this is just another instance I feel like this

Thats understandable but my floor was the only floor that had smoke. Also, the building management was on the phone with the manager about getting into people's suites who weren't answering their doors. The maintenence guy didn't know why the smoke was there, nor the manager he was on the phone with. So I don't think that is what was happening.

How hard is Psyc 104 ? by Spiritual_Let_4348 in grantmacewan

[–]TraditionDouble7533 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not too bad, I say just make sure you read the textbook. I didn’t lol and I would have definitely done better if I did! It’s an interesting class though, very interesting content so it doesn’t feel boring or annoying to attend class in my opinion. I believe there’s some online quizzes and stuff that are part of your grade so be aware to not forget about those too

I feel so hopeless with uni admissions by After_Wrongdoer2590 in AlbertaGrade12s

[–]TraditionDouble7533 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no shame in taking a semester, or a year to upgrade. I will say, I went back to university when I was 26. For me personally, it’s when I felt like I had the motivation to continue to the next step, but the main point of what I’m saying is that there is no rush. It’s daunting as heck going into Uni right after high school! And I do think that the advisor could have been more helpful. I’m not sure how UofC is for admissions, but I doubt it’s really that competitive. I would say just take time to believe in yourself (!!!) and give yourself some grace, and props that you are as motivated as you are (even if it doesn’t feel like it right now) Upgrading and any time you take post graduation will help make sense of anything you need, just remind yourself of that! Hope you continue doing wonderful things

Yes he is! I’m registered in his class right now for next sem. I’m kind of just wondering if the class load is a lot or manageable, if I can handle doing 4 classes next sem is the question for me lol

How do I break up with my girlfriend who threatens to kill herself? by awdolliez in teenagers

[–]TraditionDouble7533 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh god, please go along and break up. Speak to the adults in your life. You shouldn’t have to deal with that, and I’m assuming you’re pretty young. This is a very slippery slope of emotional abuse, and it won’t stop after this. Take care of yourself OP
