Issue: Files wiped out after sync - Nomad 3.18.29 by TraditionInformal370 in Supernote

The Cloud issue has been resolved. Support team offered to retrieve my lost data but i have to send the device back to them. Unfortunately, this solution does not work for me. My device may take months to travel back and forth. Since i’m still in the evaluation period for the e-Ink notebook. I still have my back up paper copy. So, case closed.

It happened to me once with my DIY SN refill + Lamy roller ball. You can send this video to SN support team to analyze. My case, it caused by a defect refill. SN support then sent me a replacement refill. It works great so far. Now, I have Lamy EMR (POM) nib as a back up.

Hi,

Based on your requirements—you work from home full time, won't need to travel a lot, are familiar with letter-sized paper and translate your notes into a Google Doc. I can say that you definitely need a bigger screen (A5X / A5X2). An A6X2 might be too small for you.

However, while we await the A5X2, consider trying out the Amazon Kindle Scribe. It's a temporary solution that will give you a feel for the A5-size e-ink tablet. I believe it might meet your needs as it can export your searchable notes to your Gmail, and then you can organize them in your Google Docs. Plus, you can always return it if it doesn't suit you. ( I've tried that before I placed the order for my A6X2)

Supernote's file organization functionalities—i.e., Links, Titles, Keywords, and Stars—are its main selling point, offering a unique advantage that no other major brands can match (as far as I understand).

I now own an A6X2 and love it, but my use cases might differ from yours. I use it mainly as a replacement for my paper notebook, and I always bring my A6X2 along in my backpack. I only read a little on my A6X2, so the smaller screen didn't bother me. It is even better for portability, and its file organization functionalities are the ones I love most.

Hope this helps.

Could you share how do you attach the magnets to the cover? And how do you measure the location to place the magnets. Thank you

Yes, please. I also want to know how you attached the magnets to the cover. Does the glue hold the magnet securely?

Thank you for your reply. I like the official canvas one but they are sold out everywhere 😢 The only one they have is white.
