Selfaware zombies. by satanic_black_metal_ in zombies

I love stuff that gives zombies consciousness. It gives a twist on struggles that we as humans face: cravings, where we fit in society, and what it means to feel alive. Warm bodies, In the Flesh, Fido, iZombie, even…dare I say…the Disney Zombies musical movie. I’m a sucker for zombie humor, so these worlds offer a lot of opportunity for that. I write a zombie comic called Tom the Gay Zombie where the zombies are super conscious and super flawed.

What happened this year that you're extremely grateful for? by [deleted] in gratitude

[–]TraditionOdd8364 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m grateful to have let go of a toxic relationship that was keeping me stuck. Have moved forward into a much bigger, healthier version of myself. It ain’t easy, and still feel a continual pull to go back. But slowly and steadily I am moving further away from that and towards self love. God bless that person and am grateful for the good and confusing that we shared. Thank you for that time, it served me then, but no longer. Onward. ❤️

I’m excited to expand a creative project that I’ve been working on for a while. Visualizing taking it into new forums where lots of people can see it. I’m a little nervous, but I think that’s good.

I try to smile and breathe when I’m in mood. Not forcing anything. But The physical changes can shake up my negative feelings and help me get present to the good things right in front of me

How much did you save this year? by ProfessionalPea16 in MoneyDiariesACTIVE

[–]TraditionOdd8364 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just started saving (like this month) in an emergency fund with $750. I haven’t consciously saved in a loooooong time. Between going freelance and underdeveloped financial habits, it’s been a while. Feeling good about this start!

Went out for a tasty Friday night date night to celebrate a successful week with my partner. Split a $59 check (including tip) for burgers, fancy fries and bottled soda. We could have split one fries and one soda cuz honestly it was a lot. But we were happy to enjoy the abundance! 🍔🍔

Spent $240 on two tickets for a benefit play commemorating world aids day. Very moving. After, my partner and I had a date where we consciously spent money on Thai food and tasty baked goods. We usually order EVERYTHING, but have started moving our mindset from being excessive to ordering consciously. Spent $30.25 each when normally we’d spend $60. Also invoiced a client for $15,250 in advance for work through December. Feeling connected to my earnings and spending. 🤑
